[Misc.] June Bride Rushana, A Stealth Update? (Updated with more oldies)

Let’s play a game of Spot the Difference… What changed in the artwork of

June Bride Rushana?

Previously she looks like this:

Upc noticed she now looks like… this (now updated on PDX Database too).

What’s the difference? She finally doesn’t have a white mouth!! Very important, much wow. The artwork makes more sense now, unless Rushana has enormous teeth…

Poll because why not?

Edit: Artist tweeted!

Apparently it was totally intended but it wasn’t well-received… But that’s such a late update anyhow!

Is this the first art change?

Certainly not, and it definitely won’t be the last time we see art changes! When

Christmas Freyja was first released, we all were greeted with this artwork:

… Look closely, count even more closely. Artwork featuring 6-fingered Freyja, her thumb is a bit hard to see but it’s there.

(I swear I’m not being perverted it was Paulo)

Twitter of course exploded and GungHo patched it pretty quickly. She now has 5 fingers like most of us do.

Edit: More from Paulo

Paulo said I should include these gems too:

Izanami and Sakuya! White background is the initial release, and dungeon background is current.

(I believe they were from padpadblog years back)

Big head, arm positions, left hand, ahhhhhh. And that hip movement on Izanami!

Okay no matter what, that weird leg is weird. Even with the small fix it’s… still not the best we’ve seen of Sakuya.

Mistakes happen even with busy PAD artists! It’s amazing to see that people (especially Japanese) notice the finest details too. Let’s see what will be the next fix!

    1. Usually people have 4 normal fingers and this big, fat lump we call a thumb. I see 5 normal fingers and no thumb, which either means she hiding a thumb, or that long thing is her thumb

  1. turns out the white mouth was intended
at least that was what it said on the illustrator’s twitter
