Fun Facts

Background Music

Did you know that the background music for Shikigami dungeon (Mystic & Spectre) is reused from PAD Cross? Time stamp: 8:22 below:

Shura Realm 2 – Sun Quan Spawn Skillset

For a few months now, Awoken Sun Quan from Shura Realm 2 has had incorrect skillset names. While the skillset is obviously supposed to be representative of Sun Quan as a military general, the skill names instead belong to that of Awoken Andromeda , with one of the attacks listed even being called “The Turquoise Star Chains” (Awoken Andromeda’s active skill). While the dungeon has still yet to be released in NA, and the skillset will likely be changed before the dungeon does come out, this interesting inconsistency makes it seem as though the Awoken Sun Quan spawn was originally supposed to be Awoken Andromeda before the dungeon got released in JP, I wonder what happened there?

English version, hmm.

While PAD JP version doesn’t have an English version, GungHo JP’s official site has an English section: https://www.gungho.co.jp/en/.

PAD and Revenue in 2019

PAD’s overall revenue in Fiscal Year 2019 was around $500 million, and more than 90% of that revenue came from JP.

Weekday Dungeons and Days of Week

The weekday dungeons matches with the days of week in Japanese Kanji!

Day of week (English) Day of week (Japanese)   Weekday Dragon
Mon 月 (moon) Metal Dragon
Tue 火 (fire) Ruby Dragon
Wed 水 (water) Sapphire Dragon
Thu 木 (wood) Emerald Dragon
Fri 金 (gold) Gold Dragon

Same name, different skill

Both Zaerog-Core and Allatu’s active skills are called Dark Liberation, despite having different skill effects.

(Side note: They do have different skill names in Japanese though!)

Weird enemy skillsets – Another Crusader

Similar to Orpharion and Despharion, all of the attacks in Another Crusader’s moveset are written in a different language, this time being written in German. Once again, upon translating his skillset, the attacks all make a lot more sense.

For example, his preemptive attack where he sets up his damage absorb, Brennstoff Gewinnen, translates to Gaining Fuel in English.

What is it with so many machine type spawns having these weird movesets anyway?

Changes to Alcyone’s enemy skillset in NA

When the dungeon Illusory World of Carnage first arrived in NA, the floor 6 spawn Alcyone originally contained an error in their skillset, where their primary attack they would use was named “she collapsed”, referencing how Alcyone is very sleepy. The issue with this, is that Alcyone is actually a boy, as confirmed by their original artist. Perhaps due to this fact, the name of their primary attack was changed to be “Alcyone slumped to the ground” only a short time after the dungeon was released here.

Idunn & Idunna, who’s who?

Finally after so many years, I&I’s artist Shinnosuke Hino explains which one’s Idunn, and which one’s Idunna.

Idunna on left, Idunn on right!

Where’s the Point?

[PAD NA Version]

If you check the “Super Awakening!” tip in the “Useful Info” section, you’ll notice that the tip abruptly ends without giving an answer. Sure it’s grammatically correct, but exactly what do I do?

First Card with Voice Awakening?

The honor goes to Gintoki Sakata from Gintama Collab, first appearing in August 2018 (ver. 15.2).

Seems like Voice Awakening existed forever, but it’s only present for almost 2 years. Time flows so fast…

Navi likes the beach!

Beach Navi came out before regular Navi !

Double the completion stones

When a dungeon has both Normal (brown) and Technical (green) levels, you will get two Magic Stones upon clearing all levels – one for clearing all the Normals, and one for clearing all the Technicals.

P.S: That happens to the lowest difficulty of Monthly Quests!

Stamina back then

Back then in the early days, stamina used to recharge once every TEN minutes…
Meaning once you got to the higher ranks, you pretty much had to stone for stamina since you’d go to sleep and wake up with like 60 stamina recharged (assuming you slept 10 hours). Thankfully, they’ve changed it so that it’s only three minutes!

Reni’s note: For those who wanna see the old times, there’s now a Back In The Days fun facts! see all tips to find them!

Vidar’s limit break stats

Vidar’s stats at level 110 (2020/2020/2020) are a reference to his release date in JP, as his descend first debuted there on January 1st 2020. What makes this funny, was that Vidar was already in the game data for several months before this, due to him being used in Odin’s story mode dungeon, this meant that it took quite a while for this stat easter egg to actually make sense!

GungHo Collab Card Names

All of the Chrono Magia 7 star cards in the GungHo collab REM have dark colored evolutions, with their card names indicating as such. While the original four Chrono Magia cards all use (Dark Color) in their card names, the next six Chrono Magia cards that were added to the REM instead used [Dark Color] in their names, with brackets instead of parentheses. To make this even stranger, the three most recent seven stars added from Chrono Magia revert to using (Dark Color) in their name, with the parentheses….

First appearance of the Event Medal

Event Medal has been around for longer than we thought – Back in 2014 when we cared about Game Center achievements, it already existed!

Here’s my old ugly Weekend Dungeon team:

Decreasing stats with higher level

Some cards in PAD don’t increase in certain stats as they level up, but decrease! Most of them drop in RCV, but increase in other stats makes their weighed stats higher still.

Some notable examples for RCV drop include: Gigas (0 to -100), Dantalion (1285 to 266), and Zeus Stratios (195 to -100), and Yog-Sothoth (926 to 233). There are a lot more out there!

Maximum number of combos in PAD

128 combos is all you can get in PAD. After that, the game crashes!

(Who here can get 100 combos easily anyways?)

Parts of the Mystery Solved!

As part of the release of the new arenas named “Shura Realm (Realm of Carnage)”, two of the rewards will be Rainbow King Metal Dragon & Rich Gold Dragon! Both of which have the numbers 1340 and 1341, which were two blank spaces in the monster book before. Perhaps this is a start to revealing more and more of the mysterious blank monster book spaces..?

Hexazeon is copying Amaterasu’s lore?

In Hexazeon ’s Dungeon, or his evomats , there are 3 things used to evolve him, the Magatama , Mirror , and Holy Sword , all are iconic as the gifts Susano gave to Amaterasu to settle their dispute in Japanese Mythology.

Changes to Cards Prior to Release – Nicol Bolas

Upon his initial reveal, the card Nicol Bolas originally had a 16 turn cooldown on his active skill, a 100% shield with 2 turns of haste. What this meant, was that if you had six copies of him on the same team, you would realistically be able to system his active skill indefinitely. Because of this, he had his cooldown raised to max out at only 18, to prevent this from being exploited.

Orpharion and Despharion’s skillsets

Have you ever found it odd that Orpharion and Despharion ‘s skillsets in the Colosseum dungeons are seemingly just random words with no actual meaning? As it turns out, their skills are actually in Italian, and once translated to English, they make a bit more sense.

For example, Despharion’s attack that creates bombs, Tempesta Esplosiva translates to Explosive Storm in English.

Last Numberdra Caller?

Unless we get an eleventh number dragon, the latest form of Red Sonia , will be the last numberdra caller since she has controlled the power of Valten, the latest number dragon!

Super Awakenings

If there’s only one Super Awakening available, you’ll still see the roulette of… one Super Awakening.

(You can also reroll it, effectively tossing out 297 for nothing)

That dungeon drop list

Invades (such as Keeper of Rainbow in Tuesday Dungeon’s Keeper of the Gold dungeon) do not show up in the drops list that you see before entering a dungeon.

Father from Fullmetal Alchemist Collab

For unknown reasons, the card Father from the Fullmetal Alchemist Collab lost the ability to evolve after May 28th, 2018 in JP. This change made it impossible to obtain his evolution, The Dwarf Inside the Flask until the collab got a rerun in late 2018. It’s possible that this change occurred  because of the gem system that was added to the game around this time, and GungHo wasn’t able to add a gem for the State Alchemist’s Certification card needed to evolve Father until the collab got a rerun. In any case, it’s certainly an interesting piece of PAD history!

Old Ultimate Evolution Methods

Back in the early days of PAD, you would need to manually feed evolution mats to a monster through power-up fusion in order to achieve an ultimate evolution, as there was no dedicated evolution option to show what materials they needed. For example, you would need to feed Tyrannos these exact materials if you wanted to ultimate evolve him. If all of the correct materials were selected, the Begin Fusion button would begin to glow a rainbow color, but otherwise, there was no in game indication on what materials each ultimate evolution used to require!

Uvo, back in the days

Ultimate Evolutions originally were not present in the Evo menus. You had to perform a normal Power-Up Fusion and put in the correct 5 materials which would make the Evolve button glow if you got them correct. With no way to look up the materials in game you would have to look them up (or, horrifyingly, guess)

High rank players in Japan server

According to the JP 7th Anniversary Stream (2019), only 0.07% of players were above Rank 1,000! Only 1.58% were above Rank 900.

Stacking Porings

Poring is one of the few Enhance materials that does not stack. None of the REMDras stack either since they have levels.

Number of fuses for a card

The fuse # of a card (the number that is displayed when sorting box by fuse #) does not cap at 1000 (It doesn’t show 999+).

Also, the Fuse # only increments once each time you press “Fuse“. Fusing five monsters at a time only causes the number to increment once, which makes the earlier factoid very tedious to test!

Ryan is still testing if it shows 9999+ at 10,000 or more fusings!

In the old days: Tans

While Tans are used for skill-ups nowadays, they initially existed to be used in the assist/inherit process. Each assist would take 4 Tans (2 of the to-be assisted card’s main attribute, and 2 of its sub-attribute) and 2,000,000 coins. Did I mention material stacking also didn’t exist back then?

Things that never made it live: Awoken Ceres Evolution

Awoken Ceres (one of the first cards to get an Awoken evolution) was teased to use her different evolution as the evolution mats. Thankfully this did not happen in the end!

https://livedoor.blogimg.jp/hukutakidesu-non/imgs/3/d/3d4967f8.png

Things that never made it live: Awoken Bastet

Awoken Bastet was teased as a card that would be Heart attribute. Obviously this idea was scrapped, but it really makes you wonder what GungHo was planning at the time!

Matching orbs in W-shape

The W-match used to count as 1 combo, instead of 2!

Before fix (top): These 7 orbs in W-shape counts as 1 combo, and the 6 orbs in yellow rectangles are erased.

After fix (bottom): W-shape counts as 2 combos, and the 6 orbs in blue rectangles are erased.

In the old days: Wee Jas

Wee Jas ‘s active used to convert the middle row into Heart orbs, not the bottom-most row! This “buff” from long ago now prevents an easy combo orb creation from swipe after using the active on a mono-color board. Today (March 2020), there are still no actives that convert just the middle row as well!

Mythril’s name change?

Mythril evolves into…. Mithril Edge (Y changes to I for some reason?)!

Stamina Notification – An NA-Exclusive Feature!

Only on North America version of PAD is the stamina notification! Japan version does not have this in options.

Himura Kenshin’s Secret Number

Himura Kenshin ‘s attack stat makes a reference to Rurouni Kenshin’s original air date. Pre-Limit Break stat base ATK of 1501 + 495 ATK from pluses = 1996 ATK, which is the year that the original anime aired in Japan.

Leader Skill of Machines

The leader skill of Machine Noah is MN1460 – Multi Turbo, which is interesting because:

  • MN = Machine Noah.
  • 1460 is the PAD ID for Noah .

Similarly trend applies to Mechanical Goemon , Machine Athena , Machine Zeus , and Machine Hera !

Not all of PAD’s Monster Book are filled!

There are some empty ID slots in PAD, even in Japan version! See here for a list.

The TAMADRA Art Fix in 2014

Do you see something weird on Tamadra from 2014?

Answer: The white highlight on its left eye. This was patched in April 2014!

Who Is The Sixth Dragon Caller?

Do you know who the Sixth Dragon Caller is? After all, PAD’s Radar 3 Series has two Eighth Dragon Callers: Tidecaster Grato and Tidebringer Amnel !

The Sixth Dragon Caller is actually Ancestral Blue Dragon Caller, Sonia !

Magic Stone Prices

Magic Stones used to be much cheaper on the Japan server than North America server! This was changed in June 2020, and now both servers have similar prices.

Feeding Tamadra

Feeding Tamadra through the Monster Enhancements option will not give EXP, but feeding them normally through Power-Up Fusion will still give EXP!

Counting Tamadra

Plural form of

Tamadra is… also Tamadra!

PAD Goods

There are a lot of PAD figurines and art books out there! I have compiled a small list of them, find out here!

Not in Japan? You can find some PAD Goods for sale on Amazon or eBay.

There are 4 PAD Servers!

There are many regional versions of PAD! Aside from JP (Japan), NA (North America), we also have HK/TW (Hong Kong/Taiwan) and KR (Korea) servers!

Damage Cap

The highest damage, or the damage cap in PAD is 2,147,483,647. That’s the largest maximum value of 32-bit integer, which is equal to 231 − 1.

Number of PAD Cards

There are now over 6000 cards in PAD! Many of them only exist in Japan server though, due to Japan-only collabs.

PAD Fonts

The font used in PAD interface is a Japanese font called Kurokane (paid font). The font used on the logo is called Rowdy.

General Tips

Spotted a helper in 0 stamina dungeon?

If you spot a leader that you want in 0 stamina dungeon (commonly Endless Corridors), don’t bother to finish the run if its only for the leader, because you won’t have the option to send a friend request for them, making you lose time.

Tired of Scrolling?

Tired of scrolling through your entire monster box? Go to Others > Options > System > Scrollbar so that you can directly drag the scrollbar for fast scrolling! (I said scroll 4 times lul)

Icon’s background in dungeon

When you’re in a dungeon, there is a blue background behind the PAD icons that tells you how much of the skill is charged up! Woodsie and Saline are almost ready, while Shigeshige is charged!

Though for busy cards (like Shivadra there) it’s really hard to see…

Farmable Reincarnated Cards (for achievement)

Ever thought about how long it would take to complete the 100 Reincarnated cards in the achievements? Did you know that this doesn’t only apply to REM cards, but also the elemental knights ?

You can find the knights in various dungeons and can effectively raise that counter to 100.

Poison skyfall debuffs

Poison skyfall debuffs can be extremely dangerous if they’re left without overriding them. A good farmable option to get rid of poison skyfalls is Halloween Pumpkin from the Halloween seasonal event. With the introduction of AA4, you can also get Latents that void poison or jammer skyfalls.

Circumventing Evolution-Specific Leader Skills

Pixel and Super Reincarnated Evolution leader skill bonuses restrict only for your leader and subs, knowing this, you can choose whatever helper you want, as you will still gain the first part bonuses.

Your HP value’s color identifies what percentage you are!

For HP percentage leads such as Dark Metatron and Dark Omega, it could get a little confusing on guessing if your hp is directly 80% or 50%, that’s where the colors come in!

Color Boss HP (%)
Green Full HP
Blue 99% – 81%
Yellow 80% – 51%
Brownish-Orange 50%-21%
Red 20% – 1%

Keep this in mind next time you want to know if your hp is below a certain threshold without using an active.

P.S: You can also check with the location of the HP bar, but this can be hard sometimes.

Countering Pre-set Movetime Dungeons

Have problems with fixed second dungeons (Khepri, Moby Dick)? Use fixed second leaders that posses more movetime (Base form Panera , Mickey & Friends (JP-only), Chacol ), this will overwrite the lower value.

Infinite Cost Badge in Coop

Are you building a team for Co-op but your cost have exceeded? Use Infinite Cost badge, its effect won’t disappear in Co-op. This is because the badge is tied with your team instead of a dungeon, so you will still have the benefits.

Awoken Bind and Badges

Badges aren’t affected by Awoken Bind. This proves helpful if using support badges (, , , ) or hazard resist badges (, , , ) in a 50/50 chance of being not affected by a moveset.

Reincarnated Evolution Quest!

When you perform a Super Reincarnated evolution, this will decrease your progression in the Reincarnated Evolution Quest. So if you are almost completing, wait until it’s done before moving to Super Reincarnated evolution.

Removing Poison or Jammer skyfall debuff

Ever encounter a Poison or Jammer skyfall debuff and want to remove it? Use an active such as Fenrir , Pumpkin Devil , or Cerberus ! While it may pose an inconvenience in the next few terms, it could overall be helpful especially against long debuffs!

Special (Rogue) Dungeons & Super Awakenings

Super awakenings don’t activate in rogue dungeons until your card actually levels to Lv. 100!

Unlocking Dungeons

If you beat a dungeon in 2-player mode (co-op), you’ll permanently unlock that dungeon forever. This is useful for unlocking arena dungeons!

+297 & Quests

Save up your +297s for the 100 +297 Maniac Quest first! Feeding them away for Super Awakenings decreases your progress.

Naming your box

You can rename your folder (box) by pressing onto the tab (the 1 and 2 on the tabs)!

Super Awakenings

Confused about Super Awakenings? Our author Kennori wrote a post to help!

Limit Break & Super Awakenings

Just because your card can Limit Break doesn’t mean it will have Super Awakenings! (So check before fusing your Super Snow Globe Dragons !)

Combo Skip

Turning on Combo skip skips animations and makes your co-op partner(s) happier!

Checking enemies on next dungeon floor

Press and hold onto the screen (enemy area) to reveal the enemy for the next floor! This is handy for Ranking Dungeons when every second matters.

Optimize Teams for Dungeons

Optimize teams around specific dungeons instead of trying to clear everything with one team! Beating everything with one team sometimes becomes a challenge itself.

Make good use of your cards!

You don’t need to be particularly whale (spending a lot of money to get particular cards) to make adjustments to teams to make specific dungeons a lot easier.

+Points on a Card

+Point (plus point) of each stat gives different values to the stat! +10 for HP, +5 for ATK, and +3 for RCV.

You can only get 99 plus points on each stat, for a total of +297 maximum.

It’s RCV, not RCU!

PAD’s font can be misleading, but it’s recovery, not recouery or recuvery!

Confused about PAD terminology?

Check out the glossary section if terms are confusing!

Multiple PAD Apps

Every version of PAD is a separate app! That means you can run JP, NA, HK/TW, and KR versions of PAD all on the same phone, but all different accounts! (Though you’ll really need to play 1 hour a day per account…)

Mechanics

Refresh orbs = hasting?

Completely by luck, but if a refresh orb active, such as Maeda Keiji , manages to create a match of 3 or more, it will count as a turn passed for the player, effectively allowing you to get one extra turn for active skills.

To the next floor!

Shields and Void Attribute Absorption from active skills continues to next floor, if the player manages to one-shot a dungeon floor.

However, if the player uses an auto follow-up attack (autofua) leader skill (such as Reincarnated Vajrayaska ) and then make 1 combo, the shield’s and void attribute absorption’s timer will be reduced.

Poison actives vs. status shields

Poison actives can be a solution for resolves and high DEF but low HP spawns, but you cannot use a poison active on an enemy with a status shield. However, if you poison when the enemy does not have an active status shield but then they cast one, when the status shield is over they will have the poison status again. See it for yourself in dungeons like Zeus & Hera Descended!

Awoken Skill Bind & Gemstones

When Awoken Skills are invalid or your team currently has an Awakening Bind, you cannot use Awakening based burst actives such as Gemstones .

Skyfalls and combo orbs

Hazard skyfalls can override combo orb skyfalls if not enough actual orbs drop. For example, if I match 10 orbs and nothing else, 7 hazards can drop and only 3 combo orbs will fall from the sky.

(Lunatic has a screenshot to confirm this, but doesn’t have super definitive proof. If anyone would like to add to this, let us know!)

Defense break in dungeon

Defense break actives such as Balboa will continue to carry into the next floor providing that you one shot and there isn’t a death sequence or preemptive on the next floor that ends the turn! This is nice for those back-to-black floors with high DEF in Normal Dungeons.

Do keep in mind that if you use an AutoFUA lead such as Kagu and one combo after using the active, the defense break will not carry over onto the next floor even if the AutoFUA sweeps the floor!

Removing fixed starting position

You can remove fixed starting position with an Orb Refresh type active skill (Maeda Keiji , Mastering )

Bind non-stop

Bind length will decrease after the enemy’s attack during a turn. Normally, the length will decrease by one, but if the card gets bound again during that turn, the length will not decrease by one and will also accumulate the new bind length on top!

Attribute change vs. Enemy debuffs

Attribute change (active skills of cards such as Amenominakanushi ) can get wiped by status debuffs by enemies, since it counts as a player buff.

Order of team subs matter

Attack goes from left to right, main attributes first then sub attributes. This makes a life and death difference against enemies that absorb damage from attribute(s).

For example: Machine Hera absorbs Light and Dark attributes, so you want your Light and Dark subs on the left side of the team.

Locked orbs

The locked orbs don’t prevent you from moving orbs! However, you cannot orb change them unless you unlock the orbs.

Never cascade bombs!

They explode if they aren’t matched directly.

Damage Void and Damage Absorb are different!

Damage Void: Enemies take no damage from individual hits that exceed the damage void number. Countered by activating VDP Awakening, by matching 3×3 formation of orbs, or Shelling Ford’s active skill.

Damage Absorb: Enemies heal from your damage above the damage absorb number. Countered by actives like Fujin .

Change The World stops Spinner Orbs!

That’s the active skill of Yomi , Myr and friends.

Miscellaneous

A roll a day…

Studies have shown that a REM roll per day is as effective as apples in promoting good health.

Reni’s note: Probably more healthy than mass rolling in one sitting!

PAD Artwork Details

Uvo Jiraiya art, ouch

While less of an artwork detail and more of an artwork mistake, in Uvo Jiraiya ‘s art, his weapon is actually missing one or two chain links!

Reni notes: Actually Jiraiya is missing a whole hand LOL

Wonder how the artist and animator missed that?

Chrono Ma:gia and cameos

Did you know that both Minerva and Raginleif made cameos before their official debut?

Yes, Minerva first appeared in Knight Kisaragi ‘s base artwork and, for Raginleif case, appearing in Lilia ‘s Uvo artwork.
(Both appearing on the right side of artwork)

Who gonna be the next one to be featured in future?

Unlikely Friendship

Highren from the Dragonbound & Dragon Caller series can be found in the corner of Reincarnated Famiel ‘s art! I wonder how they met…

Awkward Weapon

The Golden Sword on Amaterasu ’s Super Reincarnated art, was the gift that Susano gave to her to settle a dispute they had, along with her magatama (on the right) and the mirrors (in the background). Buuuuut the sword came from Orochi ’s, um, tail (aka butthole).

The Lovely Kanetsugu

Kanetsugu ‘s wings and forehead are the word for love, 愛. Furthermore, his preemptive is called Shining Love (愛の輝き) and his title is Honorable Dragon, or 義愛龍, which has 愛 in it as well!

Reni addition: Kanetsugu is based off a Japanese samurai – Naoe Kanetsugu, who has an armor with similar design (Japanese Kanji for “love”) as the headerboard.

CyberBeast and CyberDragon series

The CyberBeast, CyberDragon, and Armor Dragons series both have their monster book numbers somewhere on their artworks. Can you spot them?

Awoken Amaterasu has 6 fingers!?

Seemingly a small artistic error but it really isn’t, if you take a closer look. But can you unsee that?

Details in Awoken Artwork

In the past, Awoken evolutions uses Descended bosses as evolution materials, and some of the bosses end up appearing in the Awoken artwork!

For more examples, see here!

Mulan’s Hidden Message

The bottom of Mulan ‘s robe reads 10 combo!

The most perverted PAD card?

Award goes to I Love DeviBear for…

Meimei’s Spell

Awoken Meimei’s spell reads her skill name, Genbu’s Seven-Star Formation (玄武七星陣) in kanji!

Hidden message on Laila, Sharon, and Leeza

Did you know the three of them has a spell in the background that reads “I ❤ P&D“?

Puzzle & PADZ Cards

All PAD Z Collab cards have a puzzle on them somewhere!

Saria’s Spell

Did you know that the magic spell in front of Saria reads “Puzzle & Dragons“?

Tamadra’s Shadow

The shadow of Tamadra is a star! Lovely PAD Physics!

PAD Bug Museum

Uvo Jiraiya art, ouch

While less of an artwork detail and more of an artwork mistake, in Uvo Jiraiya ‘s art, his weapon is actually missing one or two chain links!

Reni notes: Actually Jiraiya is missing a whole hand LOL

Wonder how the artist and animator missed that?

The 0 stamina bug

When Touya was first introduce, entering a dungeon with him as both leader and friend would set health to 0 resulting in a game over upon entering a dungeon!

* This is now patched.

Dorothy’s Trick

Popping a skill that randomly picks its effect (Dorothy etc.) and then immediately popping a different skill, will make that second skill’s name pop up momentarily. Sadly this is already patched.

Examples from Pazudora Sokuhou:

Senri’s animation, on initial release

On initial release, Senri ‘s animation had an error where her leg is not attached. Thankfully this was fixed a week or so later!

PAD In The Old Days

Back in the Days #18 – Coin Dungeons

Remember the time Coin Dungeons exists way before Rewarded Dungeons (a dungeon where you completed a Quest Dungeon or reaching your goal on each achievements) were a thing right now and a replacement? Yeah I hope so.

Pengdras, Mini-Collabs (also appear in Special Dungeons 24/7), Descended Rush(es), Special Descended, you name it. The dungeons cost from thousands to millions of coins and can be ran unlimited times, up to 24 hours.

Back in the Days #17 – Old old collabs

Did you know that the oldest collabs that we played were the most forgotten gems in PAD History? Such as Clash of Clans, Batman, and oddly Angry Birds (both the original and the Angry Birds Epic respectively).

Back in the Days #16 – Skill up

Back in the days, (when Horus was the top lead at 1/16/1) there were no Pys. The only way to obtain a skill up was by feeding REM monsters to REM monsters!

The rate was also abysmal back then because the best skill-up rate up was 2x during special events!

Back in the Days #15 – Godfests… and waiting…

Back in the day when you waited for a godfest to line up with a certain color to be boosted get specific units.

Back in the Days #14 – Evolution Pain

Evolving required fusing the right materials from your box. The “Begin Fusion” flashes if you have the right materials selected for evolution.

Now cue all the posts asking why it didn’t evolve (after fusion)…

Back in the Days #13 – Pengdra Farming

You wanted EXP for your cards? You farm for Pengdra and have a box full of them. Your own Pengdra farm.

Back in the Days #12 – Old Team UI

This really was a good team, and pluses were hard to come by. Having a +297 lead was difficult!

Not to mention awakenings didn’t exist at that time!

Back in the Days #11 – Tamadra Farming

You thought farming Pys was bad? Here’s Upc’s collage on farming for a Tamadra:

YamaP Tama: “You thought that was going to drop? LOL”

Back in the Days #10 – Py Farming…

You wanted Pys? You work for it and farm Alt. Technical Dungeons. Here are Upc’s sorrows, 1 Py per 4-6 hours:

Back in the Days #9 – Hera-Is Descended was hard

Karyu reminded us that Hera-Is was a hard dungeon. Admittedly my first clear took 5 Magic Stones too… on a cheese team. Here’s Karyu’s failed run:

Back in the Days #8 – Old UI

More old UI! Back when “Technique” type existed! This later was changed to Balanced type.

Back in the Days #7 – Godfest rolls

Upc‘s question for everyone: How many of these were Godfest rolls?

P.S: Those are the old “favorite” star icon!

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/372142576104636416/728808256369328209/gf_9_15.jpg

Answer: All of them.

Back in the Days #6 – Meta team

This was a meta team, and also Zeus-Dios was a hard dungeon.

Back in the Days #5 – The Old User Interface

Day 1 of PAD NA, here’s the start of the legendary Upc (#1 rank in PAD NA). Let’s admire the old funky UI.

Back in the Days #4 – Dungeon UI in 2014

Back in the days the dungeon list was like this! No images of the characters!

Back in the Days #3 – 10 Minute Stamina

For 1 precious stamina we waited 10 minutes. Also news ticker felt like forever eh?

Back in the Days #2 – Dungeon Drop Bonus

People would wait for drop bonus then run respective dungeon for skill ups, going hard on the 5 Stamina ones.

…By going hard I mean running it 8 or 9 times then let stamina regenerate for 8 hours.

Back in the Days #1 – Echidna

Echidna was considered a good roll since it was broken on every team a pita to farm from Normals/Techs, and Scarlet Snake Princess came around very rarely.
