PAD Account Recovery [Japan ver.]

So you lost your account and you didn’t backup anything? As long as you know your PAD account’s ID, there’s a (pretty good) chance to get your account back!

To do this, you must fill out the account recovery form. Read on to find out!

If you’re trying to recover an account North America server, don’t use this below but visit the official NA site instead!

Wait, I don’t have my Secret Code!

Even if you don’t have your secret code, it’s ok! It might take a bit longer for them to confirm that it’s your account. Better to try than not trying!

Hopefully you posted about it at a forum/message board, or took a screenshot of it at some point, or have friends who may tell you your rank/PAD ID.

Walk-through of the form

The form

This is the form you need to fill out. The official form can be found by clicking the button below:

Translations

Items marked with * are required.

Would use Japanese dates for this. Example: October 23 would be 10月23日.

Use PDX (http://puzzledragonx.com/) for official monster names if needed.

Format: DATE 頃に「DUNGEON NAME」をクリアした。

Example: 12月20日頃に「試練の塔の立ちふさがる者」をクリアした。

Translation: I have cleared “None Shall Pass” from “The Tower of Trials” around December 20.

Use PDX (http://puzzledragonx.com/) for dungeon names if needed.

Details are in the next section regarding this.

Click Confirm when done.

After you complete the form…

At this point you should have an automatic email waiting for you. You need to prepare your new account for GungHo to overwrite with the old account’s data. Here’s what you do:

…You simply change your in-game name on the new account.

You should have a receipt number (受付番号), looks something like GM01234567890xxxx.

IMPORTANT! Change your in-game name to 復旧待ちxxxx

xxxx are the last 4 numbers of the receipt number you received in mail (the one above), NO SPACE. GungHo can decline your application if you don’t do this. See guide on how to change in-game name.

Generally the wait time is anywhere between 3 to 7 days (business days). If the process fails, GungHo will send you an email, probably telling you that they didn’t have enough information. You’d have to fill out the form again to retry.

Good luck!
