Announced not long ago was North America server exclusive collab, Power Rangers. This is the second exclusive collab after Voltron collab!!

So far only Red Ranger has been shown in the trailer. Here’s some questions to think about:

• What other rangers will we get?
• Will it be a re-skin of a Japan-only collab, or will it be brand new?
• How many Magic Stones per roll will this be?

Some thoughts

Nothing official here, but here are some of my thoughts on common questions I’ve been seeing:

Is this really NA-exclusive?

I’d vote yes (aside from the fact that GungHo said so). Power Rangers (PR) is North American version of the Super Sentai series. While some action footage is from Sentai series, PR has quite a few differences (Tofugo has a comprehensive list of major differences).

Unless we suddenly see a Super Sentai collab on Japan server and GungHo doesn’t know what “NA-exclusive” means, this collab is only for NA server.

Is this a re-skin of Kamen Rider?

Many feels that it’s a Kamen Rider re-skin (like how Voltron collab was Crows x Worst collab, but with slight changes). To be honest, there is currently no indication that this must be a re-skin.

Note that for Voltron it was more of a low-budget version (with that graphic style… yeah), whereas what we see here is totally an upgraded artwork. I’d like to believe we’d see something more than a simple re-skin of JP-exclusive collab.

Also we really only have 1 precedence from years ago… Things can change over the years. I look forward to a new age of NA server.
