New GungHo smartphone games: A soccer game, then a card game?
Interesting amount of new games GungHo is making, aside from PAD: a soccer game, and then a card game!
No, they aren’t ditching PAD.
GungHo made a soccer game called Calcio Fantasista (カルチョファンタジスタ, official website here), and it’s not released yet (coming soon they say)! Currently there are 3 campaigns going on for people who joins early, some lucky winners may get a Google Home or Apple Watch, or 1500 yen gift card (daily raffle), or Gems (their premium currency) and free gacha rolls if enough people follow. Yep, more Gachas.
Now what’s the game about?
I haven’t checked much myself, but you can check out the movies on the site to find out. According to the genre, it reads… “New feel/sense, next generation soccer simulation“. Maybe they should’ve add waifus to the description.
On the other hand, disclosed in Shonen Sunday magazine today is the new deck card game GungHo has been working on! YamaP likes card games himself, so he wanted to make one for smartphones… Name of the game is Chrono Magia (ロノマギア). Producer of the game is of course YamaP.

Again, this doesn’t mean they are ditching PAD. YamaP reassured that, and ask everyone to wait patiently for 6-year anniversary (which is coming up on 2/20).
