A bit mixed feelings that they are introducing a Team Badge exclusively unlocked by obtaining a specific collab REM card. On one hand, Deku & All Might can be purchased directly and if I’m not mistaken, also can be exchanged for 15 other MHA cards, so it is somewhat accessible without relying purely on luck.
On the other hand, despite being limited to MHA characters, the effects of the Deku Badge are substantial and directly effect gameplay, unlike Orb Skins and Custom BGM that are purely cosmetic.
The above being said, in practice, so long as GungHo doesn’t start power scaling all their new dungeons to expect every player to have these advantages, everything should be fine… probably. 😀
Sorry, forgot to add that now that the MHA Team Badge has set a precedent, it seems likely that GungHo will move forward with making this a regular thing for future collabs and possibly original and seasonal events. Hence the more long term concern in the last paragraph.
