“Second Chance” from GungHo – 50 Magic Stones for those who didn’t win 1000 Magic Stones! [Updated]
Results from the Twitter survey is out! Those who didn’t win the 1000 Magic Stones during the raffle will be eligible for 
50 Magic Stones!
Stones will be distributed in mid-September after the 1000 Magic Stones raffle. (Only if you don’t get 1000 stones lol)
Update: Distribution begin: 9/18 (Wed) 1pm JST.
Eligibility
- Login to PAD at least once during event: 8/24 (Sat) 12pm ~ 9/17 (Tue) 11:59pm JST
- Did not receive the 1000 Magic Stones from the raffle event
Quick Thoughts
GungHo probably felt that too few people are willing the 1,000 Magic Stones and don’t wanna see upset players…? This certainly wasn’t part of the original plan (Event item #6, which is this current event, doesn’t exist before this), and 10 winners a day isn’t enough.
Many felt that 50 Magic Stones isn’t a lot, considering how we got 100 Magic Stones free for a while. Though to be honest, even 1000 Stones go by fast for the JP whales out there! So in relative comparison, 50 really felt like some candy to keep us happy. I’m fine with it, it’s freebies after all.
I’m just glad there are still Stones coming… (Remember those gloomy days when events had no free Stones half way through?)

Free stones causes players to be greedy, there’s this one kid’s book(If you give a mouse a cookie, it will ask for a glass of milk), I remember when daily stone dungeons were something to look forward to and now some people are not satisfied with receiving $50 worth of stones.
While this is true, stones are really inflated nowadays since most good machines cost 10 stones per pull. So, it’s natural to want a higher influx of free stones to compensate
This is why gungho need to lower the cost of stones, 5 stones machines almost always have trash rolling rates, even the 10 stones machine is still risky, I had 10 bucks and wanted a valentine ney, so I paid for 12 stones in a super godfest and got an awoken freyr, ended up selling it for the + points and getting really unmotivated. If the price of machines double then the price of stones should be halved, $1 per stone is very expensive, you need to roll in a super godfest at least 5 times to get a gfe. $50 for a card isn’t worth it, and if youre unlucky you’re end up getting 5 freyrs.
Yeah but we need to remember that gunho is giving us trash % rates in their 10 stones per roll events i remember rolling some really good guys with 5 stones and getting trolled with silver eggs all the time now they give you 50 stones and troll you with the 10 stone super godfest with bad % rates for premium rolls…free is free buts its useless for me a almost 4 year player
