YamaP: More Monster Hunter buffs soon!
Spoiler: Players weren’t happy.
Apparently the crowds were not happy with the buffs (surprise) and YamaP said they were buffed in a way to benefit long term balancing. Despite that he decided to apply some planned buffs for future rerun now just to make everyone happy.
Result…
All highest rarity cards will be further buffed (borrowing future buffs actually), but the buffs will not be focused on Leader Skills and Active Skills. (so what else, such a mystery :^)
The buffs will be officially announced later!

Awakeing buffs only? We will see if that actually “makes people happy.” Maybe if he introduces 7c+ lol…they MIGHT be happy.
I do not think it him saying “it will not be focused,” means they are going to only be awakening buffs. I think that just means it will not be all active and leader skill buffs, like the first set. The only way for it to be all awakening buffs would be to for them to either completely change an awakening on some cards to be “more relevant,” or to introduce upgraded versions of existing awakenings (such as Nergigante getting super orb enhance, or Safi’Jiiva getting super fire rows). (In all honesty, ten combo is pretty much the upgraded version of seven combo. Sure it has a harder requirement, but it has a significant increase in damage. Besides, since capable 7×6 and plus combo leads exists, it is not all that hard to activate it most of the time.)

I though already did. But I want add two combos.
the original buffs where not very good. most where just a hp buff
Most of them were just offensive multiplier buffs to the leader skill, and some slight changes to the active skill on the side. The only one who really appreciated the damage buff was Fatalis, as it gave him a non-low end multiplier. Diablos’ offensive multiplier buff, while not bad, continues to force him into being a rainbow lead if you want him to be good. That one just does not sit well since he was originally an open 7×6 combo lead, taking away his unique role.
good point keeping diablos down by more or less keeping him as a rainbow lead
Although he can still make a great pairing with videal.
Long term balance? In the long term new monsters will make them useless again and they when the collab comes again you gotta buff it so in the long term just make them op now since as time goes on they won’t be op anymore which makes it balance
Dang from the image I thought the Hunters were getting buffed. Athena/Valkyrie/Zeus Hunter could really shine

Give one of the ultimate buff. Have their leader skill include musically tones when moving orbs. Then they’re automatically lead swap blocked by default.
It would be pretty interesting if they introduced LS mechanics like that or “team can’t be bound”, or “skill bound”, “awoken bound”, or “fully resists poison/jammer/poison skyfall/jammer skyfall”, etc. like how they introduced “nulls poison damage”.
Makes sense to buff everything again, since the previous buffs were overwhelmingly underwhelming. Many of the highest rarity cards could use a leader buff, but good awakenings will surely help the cards stay relevant for much longer. Fingers crossed and waiting on the new upgrades.
