Monster Hunter Tips!
There’s a lot available to us and while it’s not overwhelming, it might be a bit to keep track of; so here’s a list of things to do over the next two weeks for this collab!
Quest Dungeons
There are a special set of 10 Monster Hunter Quests you can clear, each grants a stone; clearing all 10 grants another stone + 1 Free MH Roll! These should be super simple dungeons and should be the first thing on your to do list.
Free Hunters
Everyone will get a free Male Hunter in their in game mail, but you can also claim an additional one and a free Female Hunter by clearing the “Teams of 4 or Less Floors” on both Special Collab Dungeons. (Totals to 2 free Male and 1 free Female!)
Trade for Parts
There are a few of Hunter evolutions (12 in total between both genders), and each require specific parts. So if you’re farming 3p or co-oping looking for that one 6 Star evo mat and it’s not dropping; do yourself a solid and check out player trades or ask around.
Male Hunters
Female Hunters
Think about Zeus/Valk Hunters
Both are fine cards and will have uses, however we’re only getting 3 free hunters; which happens to be the trading requirement for either. So if this is your first collab (like it is for me on JP), you have a choice of keeping 3 hunters, selecting one of Zeus/Valk, or dropping the MP to get more than that (200k MP per hunter).
Here’s the exchange list from Reni’s news post:
Desired Card | Exchange Requirements |
[5200] Male Hunter, Zeus GIGA Gear |
Trade 3 of the following: * One Exchange Only |
[5202] Female Hunter, Valkyrie CIEL Gear |
Trade 3 of the following: * One Exchange Only |
Monster Weapon Exchange
Every card from the MH Egg Machine can be turned into a weapon. If you turn your monster into a weapon and decide you don’t like it, you have until the end of the collab to exchange it back to it’s normal form.
