Love PAD Academy Remu’s new artwork, GungHo should consider making an entire series of cards featuring Lotta Lotta just randomly photobombing other characters.
Looks like PAD Academy Camilla has set a new record with 5x Dungeon Bonus, outdoing even her original version. Satsuki & Kanna’s Assist also stands out with the ability to counter multiple critical enemy defence mechanics all in a single Active Skill. It even appears to outclass Orihime and Alexander’s comparably similar Assist AS in addition to having an actually lower cooldown. The rather impressive Awoken Skill set including 2x Skill Boost is just icing on the cake.
Satsuki & Kanna is.just.insane. extremely powerful no holding back. no transformation. 2 attributes buff, unlock orbs, and DPS-favor awoken skills. Camilla also a great tools for farming. and lastly I’m glad they don’t forget Sonia. she was my first main in the game. Yeah it’s 10 years ago lol
As a Leader, Satsuki & Kanna appear to have a bit of a blindspot in that their Leader Skill doesn’t cover bonus attack to counter resolve, so running doubles as Leader/Helper can be risky. She’d probably get along just fine with Kaishu though, especially in light off his recent buffs and if you pull a 7×6 Leaper Swap with his transform AS (Though you’d need to have a Kaishu of your own to pull that off).
In hindsight after looking at PAD Academy Volsung, the artist who did Halloween Linthia sure had it easy. You can spot the exact spot in Volsung’s artwork where the artist started questioning their life choice (Hint: He’s wearing a speedo). 😀
Joking aside, PAD Academy Volsung is rather interesting in that as far as I’m aware, he is the first card in the game to actually lower the damage cap of your own cards below the base default to exactly 2 billion in exchange for raising damage cap for Leader/Helper specifically to 9.9 billion. Wouldn’t be surprise if GungHo starts deliberately making this a debilitating enemy game mechanic, especially with the recent surge of cards that raise the damage cap for multiple cards like PAD Academy Vione that could theoretically be used to counter it.
Don’t forget that some times lowering the cap for a good majority of subs doesn’t even matter.some of the time your teams will only have 2-3 cards doing actual damage. Lowering the dmg of a cleric or a utility card doesn’t matter.
Also theres niche uses of lowered dmg cap like final floor of un4s vdp shield being exactly 2billion.
