Attack on Titan!

Attack on Titan (JP: 進撃の巨人) is a manga and anime series written by Hajime Isayama. It follows

Eren Jaeger as his life is disrupted by an attack by a gigantic titan on the last stronghold of humanity, surrounded by three layers of giant walls. Things take a turn for the worst as the outer wall is shattered, and titans begin destroying the outer regions. Along the way, he’s joined by his friends, abs lady and girlyboy, and fights alongside soldiers like the cold showoff and a potato fetishist. After appearing to be eaten by a titan, Eren comes back with the ability to shift into a titan form, raising questions about the nature of the titans. He then sets off on a quest to figure out what his father has in the basement of his house.
