PAD cards that make no sense (or little sense)
With 5000+ cards in game, there are bound to be some weird oddballs in the mix. Here’s a selection of some weird ones we have seen over time. Here’s a random post on some designs we’re puzzled about…

Awakenings
You thought 80% is cool? Try 50% ! Cards with only one skill bind resist awakening cards still exist, and here are some cards you may wanna try your luck with:
From gacha
Two of the cards are from collabs that will likely never return to PAD. The first is the Baggi Cat from Monster Hunter 4G collab (Japan exclusive), which has the 30% shield for 6 turns that many wanted. The other is Mr. Satan from Dragon Ball collab (the collab that everyone on NA server dreamed for)!
Farmables
I doubt they’ll ever fix these awakenings, lol.
Leader Skills
At some point, GungHo seem to think that Leader Skills that don’t affect the leader themselves was a cool thing (this doesn’t mean the skill is useless though). Some of the Leader Skills are actually pretty cute:
Nemain
呪剣の溟手神・ネヴァン
Active Skill: For 2 turns, reduce enemies’ defense by 100%; Charge allies’ skill by 2 turns

Leader Skill: 5x ATK and reduce damage taken by 25% when 5 or more combos; 3x ATK for each cross of 5 Fire, Wood, Light orbs

First up with have a Rainbow leader…? Or not? The leader skill is certainly creative, but you will never get past the fact that she has only 30 ATK. Thankfully she has a new evolution now that makes her a bit more relevant than before!

Seregios & Regios Cat
Finally, a leader skill that requires exactly 4 combos, before Amun even happened. This was way before no skyfall leader skills or badges were in game, so any skyfall would stop the leader skill from activating. 10/10 design.
All this for 3x multiplier though? Why not run some unconditional old-school leaders instead?

That’s all we have noted for now, as our top favorites! Maybe we’ll add more later if we find funky cards worth mentioning. Perhaps one day, a GungHo staff reads this post and fix all of it, or keep them around for memes? We shall see.

Wow I actually spent 100 staminas on that Nemain fixed leader dungeon for not carefully reading her leader skill lol.
Though, the damage is actually dope with only 2 crosses not to mention 3.
True Assassin requires a match of Poison to hit its full multiplier. Its active locks Heart Orbs, then spawns 5 each of Fire, Dark, and Poison. However, the orb spawn does not avoid spawning over Heart orbs (the game code allows spawns to avoid orbtypes, so it’s just not set to do so), so three Poisons can try to spawn over locked Hearts and you won’t be able to active the leader skill.
