Much appreciated as always, Karyu! Nice to see the buff to Lavril’s original transformed form to now have a perpetual 4 turn 35% shield on a 4 turn CD which can pretty useful in adding some bulk to rainbow teams.
Lavril’s new ultimate also has an LS that is pretty similar to Aljae Kitty’s except with poison void and a much bigger bonus attack in exchange for no healing related bonuses. More niched for sure, but not without its unique uses. Her AS is a little bit on the slow side for an evolving skill for what it does, but she’s at least a decent choice for an unmatchable, bind and awoken bind cleric and the 7×6 board change at least gives the skill a use outside of strictly status recovery. Also, she gets Skill Voice, so I’m looking forwards to hearing what she’ll sound like. I’m hoping she goes “Pyon! Pyon!” every time she uses a skill. 😀
I like a big autoFUA for shura farming. gets through sopdet faster than using a skill.
If skill voice had the added effect of UB+ and one skill lock resist I might think it was cool for condensing those awakenings that get put on everything anyways. an inherit damage cap increase for SV would even be ok. I dont think the new rabvril will be replacing subs like DSelica or Josuke et. al.. There just better options. The OG with the 4 turn shield is based tho. I’d much rather have a shield active with a bonus effect ever 4 turns than every 8 or nine turns like Kyori, Suou, Crusder, and jean grey.

Aten was on the front end of the wave of buffs back when GungHo was first giving 6-Star GFEs alternate recolor forms, as such, it would seem that GungHo is taking the scenic route to complete their lap and get around to updating him again. Both Mega Awoken Aten and Pixel Aten also got a pretty huge indirect buff from the Killer Awoken Skills being boosted to 5x, although their LS and AS could certainly use some love, with much higher LS stat multipliers and about half the CD for their AS to compete with modern full rainbow board changers.
…Errr, forget what I wrote above. Just noticed the Day 2 teasers that featured buffs for Aten’s other forms that kind of throws what I wrote under a bus.
pad_sexy mostly just posts the highlights for the buffs as teasers, so it is still possible that Mega Aten and Pixel Aten might have gotten buffed in the footnotes once the full details are out.
If they got leader buffs it would be huge. Theres so much leaderswap these days even in just descend colos and arenas. I don’t want to use subs that will get me killed if they are swapped in.
