the shin unit flag can help out a lot of underperforming water cards. Velkhana, GH Yomi, Silverfang, Linus, Remdra 4, Capt America, and blue Ciel are some that instantly come to mind that will be a lot better with it equipped.

He’s very mediocre too. 8 latent slots I guess? but it feels like 10 slots and converting all the 6 slot latents to be 4 slots is still necessary. The light subatt doesnt do anything for him since he’s not for a rainbow team. His LS isnt good enough without having +combo to make the 10c consistent. He can’t realistically leaderswap because of the change skill. His change skill isnt good and doesnt help haste any other change skills, leaderswaps, nor transforms. his active skill is ok. its an upgrade to hygrangea… but its 3 turns. you cant loop with two as leads, you cant take three into no dupes, you need the money to get 3. the gakuen kio and key hero issue. 3 turn systems are a stillbirth. His active skill will even override better buffs from Royal Oak which are not only higher but boost non water att.
The equips are both amazing but this isnt a strong first tease. I’m not excited for the rest of the collab based on it.
