[Misc.] GungHo’s Newest Mobile Game – TEPPEN

Instead of Marvel vs. Capcom, now we have GungHo x Capcom on a new mobile game! Don’t confuse this with Tekken or Pokken though.

Released on July 4th in North America and Europe App Store/Play Store is TEPPEN, a card battle game with many characters you may be familiar with. Asia release is planned for later.

The game seems quite polished to be honest, and similar to HearthStone on first glance.

While I do like the game (I haven’t had a chance to try it yet), the one thing I do hope is that it doesn’t remove GungHo’s attention on PAD. I wonder if eventually we’ll see some PAD characters, or collab between the two games? (Likely no though, since it’s mostly Capcom)

Meanwhile, we’re still waiting for more news on PAD Gold, the Nintendo Switch game. At least there’s an official site with no information now?

  2. I saw a couple twitch streamers play this. I didn’t know this was Gungho??
