PAD News: Version 19.0 Update

Super Level Limitbreak system!

You can feed 5 Super Snow Globe Dragons & 1,000,000,000 coins to limit break a card from Lv. 110, allowing you to level it to Lv. 120.

New latents that only apply to Super Limit Broken cards

ATK++, HP++, RCV++

Doubling the damage they can be dealt above current cap of 2.14 billion.

Side notes: The app was updated to 64bit long ago, the damage cap was deliberately kept there.

Latent Awakening Buffs

Unmatchable Clear Latents

Now requires only 1 TPA match, and it can be triggered multiple times

Roulette Recovery Latents

Each unbind awakening now clears 5 turns instead of 1 turn, and it can trigger multiple times

Cross Attack Awakening

Fether: Buffing an unreleased awakening :^)

Cross attack awakening now remove 3 turns sticky blind skyfall instead of 2 turns.

New: Complete unevolution

You can now completely unevolve a card back to base form with a special monster – Modolit (Modo = return, in Japanese)

    Digimon has been pushing for a comeback with anime and card game…. What if it is and Agumon stuffie and we get a collab?

  3. Welp, now I know what I’m saving stones for, assuming we get it. If not, I’ll spend em in a godfest after it’s clear we arent getting it or something. I’m a huge marvel fan and some of these cards are busted (looking at you thanos and captain marvel) so I’ll def be buying the big “top rarity guaranteed” bundle.

  4. I am very curious about how GH will go about buffing Sakura (Street Fighter not Fate). For those who don’t remember, there was an error on her on one of the servers (KR or HK) where instead of being 1.5x to all stats for red, she was 1.5x to all stats (for all colors). Because they couldn’t nerf her (to my knowledge GH has never nerfed a card and instead will design dungeons to work against them or powercreep like they did with Juggler), they buffed her to act that way on all other servers.
    I like the idea of a versatile lead that can use all subs, but in my experience after about a year the 6 second limit made her too hard for me to use in dungeons where I needed to make a FUA + VDP.
    I hope that new evos for SFV will recycle artwork from Gungho’s other Capcom card game because the animations and artstyle of those are very pleasing to me.

    Needing double damage cap on 4-6 monsters – obnoxious as hell.
    Mixed feelings about that one. Have to see how they dungeon design around it.

The amount of work you guys put into these from the formatting (and everything that goes behind that, which I’m sure I don’t know even half of) to the translations themselves as well as all of the screen caps and visuals. Just thank you all so so so so much for allowing us all to enjoy the insane amount of news!

  10. That’s a lot of new content. I’m hoping the PvP is moreso something for fun as opposed to dropping necessary or much sought after things. One of the reasons I enjoy PAD is the lack of PvP and having co-op instead.
    Weirdly enough I’m more looking forward to the return of Street Fighter over Marvel as I’m not a Marvel fan. IIrc I started playing the last time Street Fighter collab was out.
    Also, I’m looking forward to the rank 1k Machine.

  11. ahah theres SO MUCH AWESOME stuff here. I feel bad about saying anything negative, but I don’t understand why they are giving people with 3 multi combo boost a blob awoke. They are very counter productive awokes. I wish they gave them VDP instead. Ponno got this aw well as all the new GFE 🙁

  12. Can someone explain why alot of jp players are using rushana, im looking up tutorials on how to beat the new dungeon and alot of people are doing rushana descended with her on the team, like is there a reward for doing so? Or what are they doing it for?

    The 64-bit app update is actually unrelated to 64-bit damage, so we can’t read intention from it.

    The 64-bit app is a change in how the app refers to RAM, and that is tied to the -bit-ness of the libraries it uses. 64-bit damage requires changes to the variable types involved in calculating and applying damage, which is something happening at a higher level. The amount of dev work required to have 64-bit damage is the same, whether or not the app itself is 64-bit.

    I think PAD is written in Unity, so 64-bit app requires changing the Unity settings and the binary libraries, while 64-bit damage requires changing some ints to longs (which can be done whether the app is 32-bit or 64-bit).
