[PADR] PAD Radar Version 4.0 Update, Featuring Renewal of the Entire App

It’s been almost a year since a major update in PAD Radar, and to be honest it really needs one…. so here’s details of the big renewal!

Probably the last time I can put [PADR] tag, time for…. [PADB]?

Freebie includes:

• Lakshmi Stamp below, to be used in battle
• 25,000 Gold
• 25,000 Monster Points (Previously Radar Points)

Cutie Lakshmi stamp: “Let’s decide the victory by puzzle!”

App name change to PAD Battle!

App icon will be updated to a cutie TAMADRA too.

New Season Pass will be added.

1. Season Points

During every season there are Season Points to collect, which rewards Gold or Monster Memories to be used in teams!

Season Points (that’s the S in the screenshot below) can be obtained through Versus battles or in the new Daily Missions.

2. Season Pass

Season Pass will be available in shop for 980 yen ($8.78 USD). You can buy this to:

• Obtain pre-made teams that comes with new leaders
• 1.5x Treasure Chest & Rainbow Orb Bonuses in Search results (in Radar maps)
• 1.5x rate for Orbs spawn in Search
• 1.5x rate for Season Points

The upcoming pass will feature a pre-made team with Bastet as leader:

New Feature: Class Battle

Under Battle [バトル] –> Versus Battle [対戦] will be a new option for Class Battle [クラスバトル], where your wins and losses will change your emblem!

In Class Battle, only select leaders can be used and will be seasonal. If a leader can be used, there will be a mark on them (see below).

Radar Points renamed to Monster Points (MP)

Just a name change because we totally need more confusion with the main game…

Awakening Style is now added

Some monsters now have different awakening due to this change. Awakenings are now labelled as Style A or Style B.

(Full list of awakening changes is here – As the list is a bit too long, I’m not translating it unless there’s enough interest)

Style A – Preset awakenings

You can’t change these awakenings if your Monster has Style A awakening.

Style B – Freely Change Awakenings

This is the same style before the update, where  you can adjust awakenings by the rarity slots.

Stamp functionality added!

How I wish we have this in PAD for reals. You can send stamps!!

Stamps can be obtained from Daily Missions, or can be season rewards later (details not announced).

The stamps to be used can be set under Customize [カスタマイズ] –> Stamp [スタンプ].

[JP] Map functionalities updated

No more searching for Treasure marks in Japan! Previously you have to collect a number of Treasure marks to unlock dungeons for PAD, but now you just need to find ONE!

You can now find EXP of a Lifetime [一度きりの超絶経験値] and Rare Gem Rush [レア希石ラッシュ！] through Search!

On the other hand, these dungeons are removed and cannot be Search’d anymore:

• Super Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/Gold/Metal Rush dungeons
• Awoken Material Rush
• King Infestations
• PreDRA Infestations
• Extreme Metal Dragon Descended

Shop Renewal!

1-Week Pass

Besides Season Pass, there is also a 1-Week Pass for sale at 490 yen ($4.39 USD).

For 168 hours you can get these features:

• 2x rate for Season Points
• 2x rate for Treasure chests in Search

Purchase Monsters

You can now use Monster Points (previously Radar Points) to buy Monsters for your teams! Even monsters featured for the Season can be obtained.

Pre-Built Teams Renewal

You can purchase Season team here with Gold, just as before.

Exchangeable monsters for PAD updated

This is added:

Desired Monster	Orbs needed for Exchange
Shynee (+297)	Rainbow orb ×5 Fire orb ×33 Water orb ×33 Wood orb ×33

There are changes to these:

Desired Monster	Orbs needed for Exchange
	Rainbow orb ×30 ↓ Rainbow orb ×20

These you can’t get anymore from exchange:

Wallpaper exchange functionality removed

No more exchanging for wallpapers!

Others

OS supported

PAD Battle will require either iOS 12 or above with GPS functionality, or Android 6 or above with GPS functionality.

More changes include:

• Radar Point Gacha and Rare Gacha removed (!!!)
• Bonus treasure chests (JP) removed, Daily Missions added
• High Graphics Mode added in Others [その他] –> Option [オプション]. When set to ON, this will increase frame rate and effects. This may be unavailable depending on your device, and will consume more battery life.
• Select Leaders and Monsters removed.
• Some Monster Memories from Normal Dungeon adjusted as well.
• Score Attack Dungeon: PAD Champion Cup 2019 will be removed.

Bug fixes

• Bug on unable to active Leader that depending on remaining HP is fixed.
• Heal orb enhance awakening is fixed
• Small brushups and minor fixes.
