You think Rank 1000 is high rank? Let’s set the bar higher with two players at Rank 1200, nako (なこ) and Staho (スタホ, @gyaa66)!
These players are certainly not ranking up any time soon, lol…
First Rank 1200 Player
The first Rank 1200 was Nako (なこ, Twitter handle unknown), who achieved this sometime around October 25, 2018, when stream happened. And yay, Gon-san as leader!
The second Rank 1200
Two weeks later on November 8, 2018, we have the second one! Staho (スタホ, @gyaa66) hit rank 1200!
ランク1200!!!
ランク上げに終止符を
本当に本当にみんなありがとう!
めちゃくちゃ楽しかったぞ😊 pic.twitter.com/8ue33594xj— スタホ (@gyaa66) November 8, 2018
Many of you should be aware that Rank EXP is exponential after around Rank 950. Here’s a graph of EXP needed versus Rank, from Ranks 1-999, from Game8:
To put it in better perspective, below is the amount of EXP he needed to rank up… This is 12 digits. The chart above is only 10 digits. 2 digit difference is huge, think about adding two zero’s to your non-zero paycheck!
His track record of ranks is pretty insane too (from his profile). You can see that getting from 1150 to 1200 took him a whole year!
Date | PAD Rank |
April 20, 2015 | 900 |
November 14, 2015 | 999 (16th player) |
September 17, 2016 | 1050 (2nd) |
March 5, 2017 | 1100 (1st) |
November 1, 2017 | 1150 (1st) |
November 8, 2018 | 1200 (2nd) |
You may ask why do JP players do this? The better question is… why not? Some players see this as true achievement in PAD!
Well that also explains some options on the PAD resume generator too…
Incredible!
