What is PAD Radar?

PAD Radar (PADR) is a supporting app for PAD (Japan version only), where you go out in real life and scan (search) for rewards using GPS/Location Services. Some of those can be claimed in the main game! This means you can randomly find a Dark Athena that you can claim as gift dungeon in PAD, and also use in PADR! You do not need to be physically in Japan, though some parts of the game are locked to Japan-only.

Think Pokemon Go, but in PAD. (except PADR actually came out before POGO)

What’s exciting about PADR is the Battle Mode (Player vs. Player, PvP) where you can play against other players! This happened after Version 2.0 update.

Wait, I’m not in Japan!

Even outside of Japan, you can still download PADR and play! You don’t need to be physically in Japan for most basic parts. If you don’t have a JP PAD account, you can play as a Guest account. PADR works outside of JP with one limitations:

• No Treasures – These are dungeons found by Search, claimable rewards in PAD main game.

Search (to find orbs for exchange), Battle mode (PvP) all work fine outside of Japan, which are the most important parts!

Things you can do in PAD Radar

Search for Rewards!

This is mainly what you do in PADR! You can find the following when you hit the circular Search button:

• Orbs: Many uses, can be used to exchange monsters or dungeons for the main game. (This is what you use to exchange for +Eggs, and easily get +297!)
• Chests: Treasure chests that contain Monsters (some of which you can claim in main game), or different things used in PADR!
• Dragon Callers: NPC you can fight against!
• Treasures [Japan-only]: Dungeons you can claim in main game, if you are connected.

Battle against other (JP) PAD players!

What’s new after the version 2.0 update is Player vs. Player (Battle) mode, that allows you to battle against other PAD players! Build teams using your resources and get rewards from winning battles!

Find friends for PAD!

The “Helper” tab at the bottom of the screen finds other PAD players who use the same leader monster in PAD as the one you connected with PADR. You can then use these leaders in PAD main game, and add the users to your friends list!
