[Updated with teasers 3 & 4!] Coming next week is the new collab, Samurai Spirits, and of course it’s time for teasers! This time, we start with two videos!

Day 1: Video #1

Shiki (Uvo)

Active Skill: Randomly spawn 5 orbs of 5 attribute; For 1 turn, 2x ATK for Dark att. (8 turn CD)
Leader Skill: 2x HP for Dark att.; 5x ATK when matching 5 orbs in L-shape. 3x ATK and inflict 50,000 fixed damage when matching 4+ colors 

Hanzo Hattori

Active Skill: For 1 turn, 1.5x ATK for Fire and Dark att.; Change Wood orbs to Fire orbs, Light orbs to Dark orbs. (6 turn CD)

Shizuka Gozen (Uvo of dungeon boss)

Active Skill: Change top row to Dark orbs, bottom row to Jammer orbs; Inflict Dark damage equal to 50x of team total ATK to 1 enemy. (10 turn CD)

Kuroko

Active Skill: For 4 turns, recover HP equal to 20% of max HP. Change Jammer, Poison, and Bomb orbs to Dark orbs. (8 turn CD)

Samurai Spirits Cartridge

Active Skill: Reduce HP by 50%; Lock all orbs. (1 turn CD)

Yashamaru Kurama (Uvo)

Active Skill: Full recovery of unable to match orb effect, bind, and awoken skill bind; Replace all orbs. (9 turn CD)
Leader Skill: [No skyfall orbs] 2x HP & RCV for whole team; 3x ATK when matching 6+ combos; ATK increase when 15 or fewer orbs remain on board after matching, up to 9x ATK

Nakoruru (Uvo)

Active Skill: Inflict 250x Dark ATK to 1 enemy. Change all orbs to Fire orbs. (16 turn CD)
Leader Skill: [7×6 board] 2x HP & ATK for Fire att.; 6x ATK when matching 7+ connected Fire orbs.

Jubei Yagyu

Active Skill: Inflict 100,000 fixed damage to 1 enemy for 5 times. Change all orbs to Fire, Water, Wood, and Heal orbs. (9 turn CD)

Tam Tam

Active Skill: Slightly reduce damage taken for 7 turns. Randomly spawn 3 Fire orbs. (8 turn CD)

Yoshitora Tokugawa

Active Skill: Randomly spawn 6 Fire orbs. (4 turn CD)

  • 3 cards are the same as before, so I’ll only highlight the newest ones below.
  • Note that Shiki base and Uvo forms have different actives, so other diamonds probably will have same treatment.

Genjuro Kibagami (Uvo)

Active Skill: Randomly spawn 15 Dark orbs. Enhance Dark orbs. (13 turn CD)
Leader Skill: 3x ATK for Dark att.; Halves damage taken when above 80% HP. 5x ATK and add 1 combo when matching 6+ connected Dark orbs. 

Shiki (Base form)

Active Skill: Recover all awoken skill binds. For 1 turn, slightly increase skyfall of Dark orbs. (7 turn CD) 

Shizuka Gozen (Base form, dungeon boss)

Active Skill: Lock all Dark orbs. Change all orbs to Heal and Jammer orbs. (5 turn CD)

Day 2: Video #4

Haohmaru (Uvo)

Active Skill: For 1 turn, add 2 combos. Change all orbs to Fire, Light and Heal orbs. (13 turn CD)
Leader Skill: 1.5x all stats for Light att.; 2x ATK when matching 4+ combos. 5x ATK and inflict 50,000 fixed damage when matching 6+ connected Light orbs. 

Galford

Active Skill: Change right-most column to Light orbs. Delay enemies by 1 turn. (7 turn CD) 

Rimururu

Active Skill: Change Poison orbs to Water orbs. For 1 turn, increase orb move time by 2 seconds. (2 turn CD) 

Justice Blade (Assist Evo. of Galford, I think. It’s a bit hard to see)

Active Skill: Delay enemies by 2 turns. Change Wood, Dark, Jammer and Poison orbs to Light orbs. (13 turn CD)

  1. heck yeah,kurama caught my eye as a badass artwork on the last post, now he looks like the prize of this collab, =)

    1. The art in the collab is legit nice, even though quite a few people don’t know the characters! (To be honest I only know a few myself too)

      Hope he’ll have great awakenings and assist evo too!

      1. His icon has the rainbow orbs so I’m guessing either skill boost or guard break, interesting

        1. It should be guard break, since his cooldown is so low. He looks amazing from the information we have already though, so I do not think it would matter too much even if his awakenings are bad.

          1. Yeah this leader’s stats and awakenings doesn’t matter too much as he got a broken LS, I mean, 4/729/4 without any type or attribute restrictions, when I see 729 I usually think it’s a cross leader, but nope, just combo away

      2. Yeahhh I notcied it too!

        The art looked super nice–I mean the smooth blending, colouring, and lighting are absolutely gorgeous and the colours are really rich and well-arranged!

        And Kurama feels super to me. Active skill is mega amaze (recover full bind+awoken bind+unmatchable, then a board change basically) and LS is easy and powerful (unconditional 2xHP AND RCV) . Also, damage control and no skyfall!

        However, and although the unconditional tanky 2xHP and RCV boost copes up with that, it doesn’t have shield. This makes it vulnerable to spawns that do gravity then an FUA or a consecutive attack from the other spawn(s), if there are two (or more).

        Love him tho; he works as lead and sub.

        Please do correct me if I’m wrong. I know I’m still too noob for PAD.

        1. And additionally (adding to the pros of Kurama), he is a +combo leader, which makes activating the LS quicker and easier.

          1. Plus combo leader refers to leads that add combos with their leader skills, which Kurama does not.

        2. The whole collab is crazy nostalgia for me, and I’m glad many are liking the collab too!! I’m just gonna be greedy and want every diamond and dupes of them. Nakoruru especially since she always is my favorite…

            And I’m probably more noober than you, regarding the fact that you’re nearly twice my rank and have definitely played twice as long as me.

        3. It is worth saying that orb refresh is a bit different from a board change. In a situation where skyfall can occur, combos will be made, cards will attack based on the matches, and skills will charge if combos are made, but your turn will not end, and any matches that are made as a result do not get applied to the rest of your turn. While board change actives guarantee that only the specified orbs, and a minimum of three of each, are made. Board changes are affected by locked orbs, and only convert the orbs on the board, whereas orb refreshes remove all of the orbs on the board causing new orbs to come down. This allows for orb refreshes to remove any statuses placed on the orbs, such as lock, blind, and combo orb.

          Both have situations in which they are useful, but board changes are generally better, due to them being more consistent.

            Board change
            -changes board to certain types
            -usless against locked orbs

            Orb refresh
            -completely resets the board
            -rids of any statuses applied onto each individual orb (blind, jammer+poison+mortal/lethal poison, and lock)
            -vulnerable to skyfall DEBUFFS (poison, jammer, mortal/lethal poison, lock) unless if No Skyfall status is active
            -great for Skyfall BUFFS (any orb you might need, lock–against orb changers, enhance)

            They’re both situationally dependent, but since we need VDP just and FUA in case, or even hitting specific elements for certain leads, I would prefer board changers.

  2. and the equip cartridge. I don’t even mess with under 50% teams that much, but the self nuke plus a 1 cd all orb lock?? wth??? super op. lol These farmable equip cards are getting better and better

      1. Nothing, but Ina has a lot to do with Haohmaru, I prefer either one, but being able to use bride zela is a bonus

  5. Damn, that is an extremely flexible (and precise) “no skyfall + orbs left on board” leader skill. It scales all the way from 15 orbs left to 0? That’s … weird! Obviously the max is sky high, but all you have to do is get to 8ish orbs left for the atk multiplier to reach levels that are pretty normal for today’s 4x HP leads. And 2x HP and RCV across the board is some crazy stuff. Baseline cloud resist just for good measure, lol.
