[2] Create 1 fire/light/heart roulette that last for 1 turn; For 1 turn, 2x orb move time; For 1 turn, 2x ATK for self; For 1 turn, change self dmg cap value to 8,000,000,000 (3 max CD)
Leader Skill: 33x ATK, reduce dmg taken by 77%, and +4 combo when fire and light attack; 4x RCV for Machine type
Ah yes. Release by the time Gundam arrives so somewhat a good Unicorn’ support hmm
I think for a “damage stick”, the lack of a third attribute really holds it back from fully being a damage stick since its active is a one turn roulette on a 3 turn cd, 2x attack for self only and a damge break + 2x orb move time. However, I’m not very educated in PAD meta so my opinion doesn’t matter. If anyone thinks otherwise please lmk.
I definitely agree for non-supergravity dungeons that not having a 3rd attribute is a holdback. As for supergravity, it definitely can be a holdback if you want to / do have a damage-boosting equip on this card.
Karakuri Yukimura as a sub seems to play like a cross between Mitsuri Kanroji and Ordeal Minerva, while also being a reasonably good Skill Boost stick. If you count using SB++ and the haste that comes from his AS, he’s good for at least 7 turns worth of boost (Potentially higher if he gets SB+ as a Super Awakening), which makes him quite useful for helping kickstart Fire/Light transforming Leaders, while having an AS that can at least keep the team afloat in an emergency, along with counter more malignant spinners and orb time debuffs.
In terms of damage output, as the others have said, a third attribute would have definitely helped his case as a damage stick, but as no monthly exchange card to date has had three attributes, it is kind of par for the course in the current game, albeit still disappointing. Good news is that he can at least Level Limit Break to up his natural damage cap between bursts of 8 billion, and of course being a monthly exchange card, he is much more accessible.
As for Karakuri Yukimura’s designated exchange dragon fodder, I’m guessing it will probably be Samurai Dragon, Shingen, although I suppose Fire Dog Dragon, Tosawandra isn’t completely out the running either.
Although that was expected given the recent trend, PAD index has been closed. It is becoming really difficult to gain some helpful information on monsters in order to create your team. That is really unfortunate as it is unlikely to make PaD more attractive.
Yeah it’s jover. Just like skyozora or other places that got shut down again… Now we need to find a new one. I don’t want to quit again…
For better or worst, the most realistic solution in the long run is if GungHo continues to improve the functionality of its own official Monster Box and Monster Book to replace the fan resources that got shut down. However, it still has a ways to go…
The Monster Box/Book as of the current version works well enough for searching and sorting Awoken Skills and Leader Skills. However, where it is lacking is that searching for Active Skills is still a hot mess due to using keyword search instead of preset tags for effects unlike Leader Skills. As an example, try searching for “Damage Void” and you’ll be treated to a venerable cornucopia of false hits, and that’s assuming you knew the official game terminology to begin with.
Another issue is that the Monster Search separate menu has now been made obsolete by the current Monster Book and should be removed. The only thing Monster Search can do that the Monster Book cannot is display entries for cards you don’t have, in every other way it is now inferior. Remove that one limiter on the Monster Book and no one will miss Monster Search.
Overall though, the in-game search has come a long way. I still miss PDX, PADGuide, PADHerder, ilmina.com and the many other fan resources that provided superior functionality… but at the least, the game now has something to work with.
