  1. the leaderskills seem nice. the artwork amd actives are turnoffs though… delay enemy turns by 2 and allies by 1… why mot just delay enemies by 1? its the same.
    also… kaiba? delay 3 turns and shield 3 turns? its versatile and very useful since so many enemies haste their own attacks at hp thresholds but sounds weird

    1. For the first one, there actually is a major difference. Two turns of delay is actually more useful than a one turn without a skill delay. That is an extra turn to deal damage, to stall out enemy buffs, stall out debuffs, or bypass resolve (there actually not that many cards with turn changes that can be delayed in comparison to the ones that don’t). However, if the enemy has a status shield, it acts a bit of a demerit, since it is a monster exchange card after all.

      For Kaiba it really is about versatility, but it still is a bit weird when you think about it.

  2. Now we’re getting into the realm of characters I’ve never even heard of lol. Last time I watched YuGiOh was when GX was out and my kid would watch it. Man, I’m getting old. I do like the different mechanics coming out with benefits also seeing detriments.

      1. Gx should be its own collab where in the dungeon the drops are evo material if the elemental heros that you combine to make the fusions of the elemental heros.

        1. While they could have a seperate collab, I think they would just put it in with the already existing collab. It would be kind of strange to make seperate collabs for parts of the strange franchise, and they have already put Sevens in with the existing one, so it is not just an original Yugioh exclusive collab. Collab’s can have multiple dungeons, and the REM could be done in one of several ways. They either just add in a few cards, rotate cards a bit like they do for Gungho collab, or make a seperate REM for different titles.

          1. we’ve already had a 4th gen and 5 gen monster hunter collab. Rise is probably still considered a 5th gen game so we shouldnt get a replacement. Batrem and Justice League too.

  3. Delay enemy 2 + ally 1 isn’t remotely the same as Delay enemy 1 for a number of reasons:

    1.) Only your skills are delayed. You still get two turns to do damage in during which the enemy cannot retaliate.

    2.) Enemies with status shields can’t be delayed. The version here causes you to delay your own guys by 1 when dealing with an enemy using a status shield. This may seem objectively worse, except…

    3.) Assists exist. Ever have a creature in your party with a useful active and an assist you added for the awakenings and not the active? Ever have that assist’s active override your creature’s active because it took to long to get to the floor you needed it, or you added too many skill boosts to your team? By skill delaying your own team by 1, you can back out of the assist’s active back to the base creature’s, with minimal disruption to the team.
    I could even see this potentially changing how players use assists, since with a team member like this you could afford to skill up an equip with a useful but niche active like a fuujin effect to have it ready as early as possible, but still be able to back out of it for the base creature’s, say, bicolor board change. Sure, you lose out on some skill delay buffer by skilling up the assist, but you’d add utility by effectively having both actives available at a moment’s notice.

    1. with Pegasus being welcomed maybe we can get toon world equip and toon BEWD and DM ults. They would kinda be like pixels or chibis. I miss chibis that valk with 3 TPA was the best

    Also, why 5 dark resist when they can just do a super dark resist?

    1. lol tbh i like the look. Makes me feel like we worked harder to get to 5 blinds, rather then be given a full blind resist like they did for the mystic series

    2. The potential reasons I can think of would be to reference the five pieces of Exodia, and to make it so it does not look as barren in awakenings as a REM card.

  5. EXODIAAAAA! what an awesome equip. perfect for Pati since she has no atk already and the override skill is also a fujin + attribute absorb.Both SSkull and Exodia look like the kind if cards that will be given free kinda like Marvel with the free Iron Man and Spider Man.
    Even though the equip seems so good, I will be doing my best to make him with as a lead. Maybe paired with the new light seedling fairy to make it work with the light crosses?

    1. They definitely did not look like free cards. They were quite obviously REM, especially because we already the two cards they were putting into the Monster exchange.

    1. It’s not based on awakenings. The active skill is based on card type. Those being Devil, Attacker and Physical. Similar to Pegasus’ leader skill requirements.

      1. I’m pretty interested in how it will work. I imagine it will be something like an additional .1 multiplier for each occurrence of that type in the team or something. So you stack the team with a few triple types that fill everything and then your attacking stick subs can be anything with damcap awakening want. Exodia equip should be pretty good on Lishella from DRelic in case we get YGO b4 we get heroin and pati.

  6. Keep in mind that Pegasus’ +4 combo leaderskill is really strong because if the 18x multiplier. Previous leads with +4 combo have had 10-16 multipliers so Megasus is is gonna be one of the hardest hitting leads. Capt Marvel still might have better team damage with the lower multiplier because if the inherit light grapes awakenings. Sakura does have a 2 turn active and is balanced devil to cycle with Pegmedaddy’s active. I think Pegasaurus is going to be the chase of the new cards being added.

    1. Silver lining for NA players is that we will get this rerun, while there’s no guarantee that NA will get Marvel. Everyone can trade for or roll for Pegasus.

      1. We know we will get buffed Bridezilla as a proxy for Capt marvel. Its exchanges light grapes, system active with debuff override, higher raw HP, and 1 combo for built in time extend and a big shield.
        NA light teams will probably be better of as row and VDP based when Zeus gets here along with Feruru buffs. Sometimes the NA diff is fun because it creates a seperate meta

        1. I forgot about Bride Zela. I might actually trade for her, I have a couple extra Bride Roche and can use some as fodder.

  7. Can someone explain pegasus and exodia leader skill to me?

    So does that mean if I have 6 of the type they require they get HPx6 and RCVx6 or is it typical gungho fashion where its some weird mathematical formula for determining it like .5 per each one, making it HPx3 and RCVx3 ?

    1. Unless there’s footage of devs using the cards in a dungeon like they sometimes used to release for collabs, there’s no way of knowing until the collab actually drops.

    2. we should find out tomorrow. I didnt roll but the 2 free rolls last time this event came so I’m thinking Ill spend my mysterious dimension stones on it

    3. I would assume the scaling is going to be less than 0.5, but count all instances of the typings in the team. It is definitely not going to be 1 for each, that is just way too much. We will know for sure though once it has been data mined, or on Monday.
