Recording Mode is a special display mode to enhance privacy. This setting does not affect how names and IDs are displayed for other players. This featured was introduced in Version 18.5 update.

Recording Mode can be switched to on/off through [Others] > [Options] > [System].

1. Hidden ID

While Recording Mode is on, any player ID will not be displayed, and is replaced by [—,—,—]. 

2. Hidden usernames

In Japanese version, other players’ usernames will be displayed as “PAD” (パズドラ).
