Short for collaborations, collabs are sets of non-PAD monsters that GungHo created cards for. Collabs are usually based off other games or other popular series, which are generally taken from top results of the Japanese server’s user surveys. Most of the newer collabs also come with a unique orb skin tied to a specific card obtained from the Collab Rare Egg Machine.

Seasonals vs. Collabs
Contrary to common belief, seasonals and special events such as Dragonbound & Dragon Callers (DBDC) are not considered as collabs. Instead, these are known as Limited Rare Egg Machines.
