    1. Sarcasm? I feel like it could be if you’re aiming to get the subs for a Yugi team from Yu Gi Oh collab, but if you need seasonals and trade fodder, this is an excellent opportunity?

      1. I don’t roll for fodder due to the chance of getting Pantheons I have no use for. If I rolled this and somehow managed to get all ones that could get traded then I spent 50 stones for one card I def want, but they would also have to be ones that are on the trade list for who I want. But with an almost 70% chance of getting a Pantheon I’d rather roll more in the YuGiOh collab itself as I have use for a lot of the lower rarity ones as well if not to just turn them into assists.

        1. (Same anon here)

That makes sense. I’m personally also rolling YGO for some low-rarity weapon assists, not chasing anything.

I guess I’m not as averse to rolling pantheons bc I haven’t been playing that long and don’t own most of them. I’m hoping for seasonals/GFE but some of the pantheons here are actually ones I want for niche uses.

          1. I want a bunch of Bakura from the YuGiOh collab in addition to a handful of Yugis. Also Mai can turn into a FUA stick assist and she also needs to be rolled for. I’m really looking forward to the YuGiOh collab, the only one I really have no use for is Winged Dragon of the Fortress. Gaia isn’t great great but he does provide two columns of dark and 2 columns of wood with 100k fixed damage so i could use his assist on Alastair.

          2. @Tony (still the same anon, I can’t directly reply to your comment bc the thread’s too long)

Getting dupes of Bakura and Yugi would be awesome but that sounds really ambitious/costly. I hope you end up getting good rolls but how much are you planning to roll for YGO?

And yeah, I noticed that Mai is a FUA weapon assist, which is great bc the last one was Gourry who definitely wasn’t at a 5.7% roll chance.

          3. I’m rolling about 300 stones plus the big package, the mid package (guaranteed Blue Eyes but you get stones too) and the one dollar package as well as the free roll and the free roll for doing the one dungeon (that you also get two rainbow tokens for doing). It’s gonna be the heaviest I’ve ever rolled. Well until we get the SGF with Nere and Fafska. Lol. I’m gonna go all out for Nere but at the same time kick myself for getting a crap ton of Pantheons I won’t need, want or have use for lol.

          4. @Tony (same anon)

Wow, you’re really going all in. I hope you reach your goal with minimum stone investment!

Is there a reason you’re also chasing Nere? I expect that as a GFE, she would be widely available from friend pairings like how we always see ppl with Ina but not really Phenom. Though I guess counting on friend helpers is not optimal.

          5. Yami Yugi x Nere (obviously with great subs as well) can tear through that new dungeon. The dungeon I’m referring to is the one you can farm the latent unlock Tamadra in. If I were to have a best friend roll a Nere I may risk just hoping they keep her in one of the first two teams so she’s constantly available.
I don’t have Haohmaru for example, but a BF does so I pair him with Tifa as needed. Same as I have a BF is evo’d Nakoruru I pair with my Raoh (since I didn’t wanna evo my Nakoruru).
Interestingly enough, Kaiba (base) paired with Minaka is basically a water version of Haohmaru x Tifa. While evo’d Kaiba goes great w Beach Veroah. I’m just really looking forward to this collab lol. I’ve been working who to throw on what team.
If I get 4 Yugi (by some benevolent force) One will be base, one evo, two assists. One assist on evo Yugi and one on Ruo (Bassoon) on my Genjuro x Ina team.

  1. welp i was the original person to say trap lol. I just wrote a little write up explaning further, but when i pressed post it disspaered. I don’t want to rewrite it all, I basically said it in this paragraph on reddit:
Just because i said ppl should wait for a future SSGF. First off Ny reeche and xmas saline were slacking but hmaddoo was not. But i said future great witches will come down the line too. I understand not many ppl here might want to wait for cards that they aren’t certain may come, but they will and i can have patience. More great witches in the pool should mean a better ssgf. People have been complaining about super god fest in general so , who knows? they may up the rates in them which may follow through for seasonal sgf also. They are only getting more generous with everything in PAD. And lasty i will say bzela and bveroah maybe arent is quite the amazing beast they were when they first dropped. I think they are still both amazing cards and i whaled hard for my two bzelas and really wanted a third. At this point though with such a crazy saturated light box i havent used my bzela in awhile. Part of the reason is tifa and the 7×6 madness that has become meta. Cottons much shorter active still procs a vdp very easy on a big board. If we get a light lead thats not tifa, on a small board i may dust my bzelas off. bveroah is very very nice lead and sub and due to the very short active i would say is in a better position then bzela in terms of top top meta. Water is also much less saturated and her rcv buff is more sought after because artura is light and fire. If you really really really want either though, this isent a bad event to get them, because besides the fact that this machine features both of them, it has many trade fodders from both june bride and beach collab. So even if you dont pull a great witch, you can get trade fodders for when the individual events come back.
Perhaps I was being a bit harsh by saying obvious trap, because like i said, if really all you want is bveroah or bzela, it’s very very nice, but I would still advise most people don’t go crazy rolling, or roll at all.

    1. Yeah, I’m basically “going crazy” rolling bc I 1) really value BVeroah for the LS 2) Prioritize getting trade fodder over anything else for now bc my teams can still beat currently endgame content.

I highly agree with your point about BZela not being as unique anymore due to the large light sub pool. Never rolled her but I actually don’t feel bad anymore bc I have Gourry!

Your point about how future SSGFs should improve is interesting. I haven’t been around long enough to get a sense of how GFs improve so I have no judgements here. I will say though that it’s hard for ppl to take that advice well bc PAD is arranged such that you only think 1 or 2 machines ahead of time, and never quite see the next step of powercreep to encourage impulsive spending.
