[Misc. Thoughts] Some things to keep in mind
Just some thoughts on the matter of “JP gets 5 Stones vs. We get only 1”. Read on if you wish:
Many are complaining that JP server gets 5 Magic Stones a day, while we get 1. No one said we won’t get 5 stones a day in the future. NA server has always a bit behind from Japan server since we’re not the main server, but the gap has shorted a ton. We haven’t missed any of the major giveaways too (except the silly 1000 stone one that wouldn’t work well on the smaller NA server).
Also, anniversary is on 11/8, it’s not even November yet.
While certainly I’m also Stone-hungry, I do look forward to seeing more things announced as we approach anniversary. I don’t think it’s fair to be hardcore complaining until anniversary really starts anyways.
Side note: Korea server JUST got Final Fantasy collab… I think they should be complaining, and not us.
I would have to say that this is unrelated to JP’s upcoming event. Last year we got the events JP got in November in December. Also, this event sounded familiar, so I went to take a look at the events in August for JP, and there was a one magic stone per day for a month event that used the same style banner. I think it is safe to say that the two are different, and that there is no reason to figure we are not going to be getting the five magic stone per day event. In fact, we might end up getting the five magic stones per day for December and January, and one more days worth.
If only more people actually realized this, to be honest. A lot of players (hopefully vocal minority) jumped to conclusion too quickly for this, and I couldn’t help but drop down my thoughts. Nice catch on the similar banner!

You’re welcome. I am always looking at JP to see what is going on there, and to see what is or at least may be coming our way. Because of this I usually remember these kinds of things. Even if I did not, I would not have made the connection between JP’s five stones per day, and this event, due to the delay we usually have. Only on a few occasions have we had the same event at the same time as JP, and they have been the same whenever it has happened, as far as I can remember.
This site has been one of my most commonly used sources of information for PAD, and I am grateful for it being around. I am usually checking if anything new has been posted a few times a day. Being able to search for posts by name, or organize by tags to find old information has proven to be a blessing. Getting translations, even though I do not play JP, is something I look forward to. Seeing what is going on with PAD JP, regardless of whether it is coming to NA or not, is always exciting. After a stream, or if I see that there is a post about new content on JP’s Twitter that does not have a post here yet, I excitedly await for the translations, while using what little Japanese I know to figure out what I can. Information is a wonderful and valuable thing, and to take the time to help supply it to everyone you can like this is great. I am grateful to everyone who is involved in making this possible. I feel like I might have said something like this before, but even if I have, I feel like it is worth saying again, since that is how much this matters to me. Please keep up the good work.

Hmm that’s true, let’s hope it comes with 7th anniversary (which would make most logical sense)! 😀
I think the simultaneous release of the Halloween collabs caused NA to think everything is at the same time now, but the 2 months gap probably has reduced to 1 month, meaning if there isn’t 5 stones per day by December or even January then NA has the right to complain. JP player here so Idrc haha, seriously though the pr collab cards look awesome. Meanwhile my rates with samurai spirits hasn’t been too good…
That’s a good point, not to mention that not everything’s pushed to 1 month gap (Monthly Quest, for instance is fixed to 2 months), so it’s hard for an average NA player to know.
PR is really good, though it certainly was a big split in NA server about it, as you may’ve seen. I can agree with my Samurai Spirits rate too, which was… sigh. I hope you still netted some useful cards in the end!
