Refers to the element(s) of a card: Fire, Water, Wood, Light, or Dark
For example,
Awoken Haku has Dark as main attribute, and Fire as sub-attribute.Note that not all cards have sub attributes! Example: Another evolution of Haku,
Super Reincarnated Haku, has no sub attribute.Acronyms
Instead of always writing Fire/Water/Wood/Light/Dark, acronyms are often used between players to identify attributes. Official acronyms are used in-game but typically not used between players.
As Water and Wood both shorten to “W”, the colors are used instead for the informal acronyms.
