An enemy mechanic where specific orbs on the board will become spinners, and will change the color of the orb on that space for a certain number of turns. This rotation has a set order, and the time between orbs changing color is usually between 0.5 and 2 seconds. The order goes: Fire, Water, Wood, Light, Dark, Heal, and the order will then repeat.
Spinners can be dealt with either by stalling them out, matching around them, by accounting for the changes in orb type, or use of an active skill which locks orbs. Locked orbs will stop spinners from changing orbs, and this can be useful in getting more consistent combos against spawns that use this mechanic.
