For pantheon cards, the awoken forms (and by extension, the reincarnated forms) are usually seen as the most beneficial forms as they tend to be the most useful due to their superior stats and generally stronger active skill.
For other cards, the choice is often not as clear and thus should be carefully considered before the investment of evolution materials.
