TPA stands for 
Two Pronged Attack, an awoken skill that provides 1.5x ATK (stacking multiplicatively for each TPA awakening) and allows the card to attack two monsters instead of just one when connecting exactly four orbs of the same attribute.
Some spikes also rely on how many of each Two-Pronged Attack awakening you have on your team, most notably Facet
