Since 2014 we haven’t seen any PAD character design contest… GungHo finally brought it back as part of the anniversary event! JAPAN ONLY!

For those who can enter though, here are the details:

Past winners

There were 4 in the past designed by PAD players:

Requirement

• PAD ID (JP only)
• Japan resident (sorry guys)
• Approval of guardian if under the age of 20

Criterion

• Original monster design Portray world view of PAD
• Focus is more put on design rather than the level of illustration
• Solo only, no coop on your artwork
• Submitted art should not be revealed to public in any way possible

Regulation

• Size: 1920×1280 pixel
• Resolution: 72 dpi or above
• Size of file: under 10MB
• Type of file: JPEG, GIF, PNG

Notes

• You will be disqualified if you don’t follow the regulation
• Hand drawn art that got scanned can be submitted as well but if quality is too poor then it may also get disqualified

Submission

• See button below.
• Other form of submission are not accepted (Don’t fax them lol)
• No limit on number of submissions each person can make, but please don’t make multiple submission of the same art

Prizes

• Number of winners aren’t mentioned.
• Original Art made into the game; Winner’s nickname will be added to credits in game!
• Stats, ability etc of the original art will be designed later.

Date of Announcement for winner

• Somewhere around midst of February 2019

Some notes

• You cannot cancel your submission
• You will not be reimbursed for the cost of your art piece
• False info during submission can cause disqualification
• Art submitted this contest cannot be used for future contest
• Do not use other people’s work
• Do not employ element of nationality, religion, race, corporate, violence and any other sensitive element
