To complete the deck in PAD (after Duel Masters, Magic: The Gathering, and I guess Chrono Ma:Gia too), Yu-Gi-Oh will be joining PAD!
The collab will be for Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters (the anime series). No dates have been announced officially, but the photo seem to suggest 12/30 (Mon) to 1/13 (Mon) for the duration.
Shown so far are the main character Yugi Mutou Yami Yugi (and Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl), Yami Marik (and The Winged Dragon of Ra), and Seto Kaiba (and Obelisk the Tormentor).
Will we see the infamous Blue Eyes White Dragon in the collab? And will DMC collab ever come? Stay tuned!!
(Ok that’s all I know about Yu-Gi-Oh, you all have to educate me :D)

It would honestly surprise me if this one did not make it out of JP, Yu-Gi-Oh! is pretty big worldwide. Samurai Showdown was fairly likely, but Shaman King and the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko collab were both ones that seemed like they would have remained JP exclusive. Not to mention that we now have the unlikely possibility of seeing Kamen Rider. I could see us getting a simultaneous release with JP, or maybe even a week or two delay, similar to how we got Fate.
Since my Japanese is fairly weak for the time being, does it actually refer to the Yugi shown there as Yugi Mutou? I ask simply because that is only half right. The Yugi shown there is actually when he is possessed by the spirit of the pharaoh living in the Millennium Puzzle. When that happens he is usually referred to as the pharaoh, by those who are aware, and officially as Yami Yugi. Considering things mostly went downhill after the Battle City arc, in my opinion, and that seems to be where the collab is being centered around, I would assume they are not using his true name, which is not revealed until the end of the series.

The Blue Eyes White Dragon Kaiba was leaked over a week ago so altho I wasn’t surprised, my hype has never been this high. What an amazing timeline to live in.
I’m gonna be sad if this collab not coming to NA. I’m glad orphan is, my first favorite anime and Inuyasha. Now blue eyes white lightning attack!!!!
