[Misc.] Japan server banwave!

With more players come even more irresponsible players…?

Note that ban wave is nothing new, Japan server always had ban waves, pretty much annually.

This time, it seems like people who used cheats to rank grind were targeted, among possibly other reasons such as: changing server to Hong Kong/Taiwan, multi-login simultaneously, etc.

Japan server players are calling this the “PAD spring ban festival” (パズドラ春のBAN祭).

But yep… If you care about your Japan server account, certainly be careful not to violate the terms and services! Stay safe and clean.

  1. Is there a list of reasons to get banned? I don’t read Japanese so I really don’t know

    1. Any violation to terms of service would be banned, I don’t have a full list, but I think you can see the NA official site for terms of service… It should be pretty similar.

Most of the bans are from cheaters though, so if you’re not doing anything suspicious, all good.

    2. Unless you plan on cheating, does it really matter? Just log in and play the game the way it was meant to be played.

  2. Good. If anyone is obsessed with ranking that highly, that they feel the need to cheat then they deserve the ban hammer. Same goes for the people who make purchases and get refunds through the app store.

  3. I didn’t know that you can change server with one account. What’s the purpose of doing that?

  4. i knew you can change severs. But I didn’t no you get more log ins lol. What if you legit wanted to log on on both. I guess there’s no reason to do that since demon slayers was in HK or whatever

  5. I hope they’re more discerning than NA PAD:

I got denied a bunch of rainbow medals from one of the remdra frenzy challenge events once – just got a message saying I cheated when rewards came around. Except that I didn’t – the ‘suspicious activity’ cited was probably the time the game froze during the challenge while the timer ran down and then for something like 20 more seconds after that and only didn’t kill the run due to the orb tally from the botched move still putting me up to the next round. From their end that probably looked like timer manipulation to extend the round, but on my side it was a bug that shortened the round and hurt my score instead!

If that had resulted in a game ban instead of just some denied prizes, I’d’ve been livid.
