New Monthly Subscription Service – PAD Pass (980 yen/month) [Updated 3/4]
[Updated 11/19: Free rolls in SGF gacha for 2 months!] As announced on stream, PAD will have a subscription service with goodies for players! There’s a bit more details to what was announced! The pass does have 7-day trial period to start. Read on to find out!
PAD Pass
Monthly fee of 980 yen ($8.94 USD) gives you special perks monthly, where some can upgrade to better rewards! Subscription is one per device platform, is automatically renewed, and can be unsubscribed up to 24 hours before the subscription end date. This is available on both iOS and Android versions.
Free trial!
A one-week free trial is available, but you will have to subscribe as free trial + 1 month subscription to start (See subscription section). Be sure to unsubscribe to discontinue if you don’t want automatic payment for next month. You will see in-game how long of subscription is left.

Perk #1: Special daily dungeons
Clear for a 
Magic Stone every day, and receive rewards from clearing the daily dungeons! Select dungeons can level up each month and more rewards are given. See below for the Egg Machine lineup.
Each dungeon is available for 3 days. Below lists the dungeon reward available for the dates each month.
For dungeons with random rewards (like Latents), you can enter/exit the dungeon for a chance of the reward you want.

- All dungeons cannot be coop

Basically all the dungeons you know from All-Days Dungeon (Monday to Sunday).
How to subscribe (& get the free trial)
The option is found at Shop. Click on the PAD Pass button at the very top.
Warnings for PAD Pass.
- PAD Pass is a monthly subscription service, and is renewed near the end of subscription.
- If you use device change (iOS to Android or Android to iOS), be sure to unsubscribe then subscribe again.

You’ll be asked to confirm. Here’s what I see on iOS – Free trial, and the 1 month subscription.
Note: You’re not charged until after the trial period, and you can cancel the monthly subscription 24 hours before trial ends so that you’re not charged.
For iOS, sign in to your Apple ID to complete.
You’ll receive an email from Apple when completed. As mentioned above, if I don’t want the subscription (that starts on Dec. 11), I have until Dec. 10 to cancel before they charge 980 yen on my account.
Unsubscribe/re-subscribing
You can unsubscribe the auto renewal anytime, and this will not end your pass. The perks (daily dungeons etc) retains until your pass expires.
- For team slots, the teams you saved will not return if you subscribe again after your pass expires.
- The end time for team slots and bonus XP are 3:59am JST in the next day, same as server reset time.
- For dungeons, you can still run the uncleared gift dungeons until it expires (currently 3 days)
How to unsubscribe
Follow the instructions below to unsubscribe to PAD Pass and the free trial. Please note that uninstalling the PAD application will not unsubscribe the linked account from PAD Pass.
iOS
- In App Store, click on the top-right icon. Click on the account information access your account.
- Check Subscription (サブスクリプション) for available subscriptions (有効欄)
- Puzzle & Dragons (パズル&ドラゴンズ)
PAD Pass (パズドラパス) - Tap unsubscribe (登録をキャンセル).
For those who doesn’t have the options above, you’ll need to use the following steps:
- In App Store, scroll to the bottom of the Recommenation (おすすめ) tab, and click on the AppleID.
- Show Apple ID (Apple IDを表示) Login (登録)
- Puzzle & Dragons (パズル&ドラゴンズ) PAD Pass (パズドラパス)
- Tap unsubscribe (登録をキャンセル).

Would I do it personally? No, because my income is super shaky and I can’t really justify that at the moment.
Is it a decent idea worth the perks? Maybe.
I feel like the daily dungeons and gacha might only start being worth it after you’ve been subbed for awhile– a free monthly GFE is cute, basically a paid 10-stone pull at super godfest. For those who already are active buyers of stone packs, this might be nice over the long run.
Extra team slots is a really appealing bonus for those who love running all sorts of leads (like myself), and all the goodies overall aren’t bad. You definitely get your $10 worth as long as you reap all the rewards.
Mh… I’m kinda sceptical especially since this could mean GH may cut the usual free rewards we get for monthly quests or event dungeons. One or two free GF rolls per month are nice but everything else – we already get a good amount of free +eggs, Globes, Tamadras, Pys… every month. Hopefully this won’t affect players who don’t subscribe negatively.
Yeah, I had the same feeling about it initially, but YamaP did mention once that they’d like to have PAD as a game that you can enjoy even as NIAP. Assuming they keep their word (I hope), they’ll not cut the usual rewards.
Personally I see this as a reward system for the super dedicated, loyal, hardcore players who can benefit from all the perks (especially the EXP farmers). It does take a while into the subscription before you really get the amazing Lv5 machine too, so some persistence definitely needed.
Do you know if your level resets after six months? Say you reach seven months, does that mean you have to wait another four to five months in order to get those GFE rates? I’m just thinking long term.

Thank you for your hard work Reni, it’s much appreciated. I have a question: are the reward dungeons influenced by the time passed from the start of the subscription or by the day of the month? In other words if I activate the free trial mid month will I get a godfest roll or a coins dungeon?
thats all and fine but when i go into the frequently asked questions on my android phone it clicks off the screen so i cant read any thing how am i supposta give up my money if i cant read up on it. to me it screams scam
