[NA server] North America Server reached 14 million downloads!

Late news, but for reals. Finally a milestone!! Maybe a 14 million downloads event coming up next for the North America server?

Quoted from the Press Release note:

“Puzzle & Dragons” currently has been played by users of 6 countries and regions including Japan. It passed 9 years anniversary since its release on February 20, 2012, the game has achieved over 57 million downloads in Japan. In the global market, the game has achieved 3 million downloads in South Korea, 3 million downloads in Hong Kong and Taiwan, the number of users has been increasing steadily.

In the North American market comprising the U.S. and Canada, since its release on December, 2012, the number of users has been growing steadily, and the cumulative downloads of the game exceeded 14 million on April 18, 2021.

Under the philosophy of “pursuing business operations to take on challenges and create new products,” at GungHo we will strive to create high-quality game content that can be fully enjoyed by game users around the world.

(December? They had it right in the Japanese version… It should be November.)

By the way, 13 million downloads happened on 2018/12/25! It’s been years since this happened.

I doubt we’d see an event in JP dedicated to it though, as the last event that Japan server celebrated for NA was for 10 million downloads on NA. Still, congratulations NA server!

  1. I want to know how many still active, how many give up after trying Technical Dungeon because they can’t figure how leader skill work. Those who give up probably expect this game works like Candy Crush Saga or Bejeweled.

    1. I started playing when it first came out here in the NA region but stopped after my ex smashed my phone. Then I started playing again about 2 years ago making a new account. Now I’m at rank 1023 and play whenever I’m not busy working or hanging with my pup. I don’t know anyone offline that plays personally but that’s probably because I’m not a younger guy anymore lol.
