About the event

Next generation World Hobby Fair (WHF) 2018 Summer (JP: 次世代ワールドホビーフェア ’18 Summer) is as mentioned, big game and hobby event in Japan! This time it’s held in Makuhari Messe, same location as GungHo Festival, on 6/23 (Sat) – 6/24 (Sun). Free admission.

PAD Pro-Kids License Certification Test

Sold with the July issue of Monthly CoroCoro Magazine (月刊コロコロコミック7月号, on 6/15) is the PAD Pro-Kids License Card (パズル＆ドラゴンズプロキッズライセンスカード)!! Kids who attend the event with this card can participate in the test for prizes, based on combos.

プロキッズライセンスカードでプレゼントゲット — Kids get a Takoyaki sticker if they can reach a certain number of combos (1, 3, 5). Hit 1+ combo and you get Pirate Toragon. 5+ combos will net you a pack of Monster Memory, with a chance to get Blue Athena (and also the Pirate Toragon). I’d love this as a kid…

PAD Challenge Cup

As expected GungHo will be holding PAD Challenge Cup (PADR tournament) for kids, up to high school only. It will be preset teams of the MP Dragons (Shiva Dragon and friends).

Winner gets a medal as well as 10 packs of the Monster Memory Set #1 (random chance of Dark Ra Dragon). All participants get 1 pack of the new Monster Memory Set #2, which has a random chance for Blue Athena.

Other Stuff

As in GungHo Festival, there’s also games corner with prizes, one of which is a 10-combo challenge. Naisu! There will also be a stage for some Pro-Gamer battles. Guests include Haraichi, Kosuke, Luka, and Yuwa. All great players and some great to look at.

Kids who get 10 combos in a tri-color dungeon will get a pack of Monster Memory Set #2, and a 10-combo badge. Oh my.

Would be interesting to see how much better kids can combo, compared to us…

New card in PAD & PADR!

Back on track – What participants of the PAD Pro-Kids License Certification Test (see above) will get is Pirate Toragon Monster Memory! It can be claimed in PAD Radar, and also as gift dungeon in PAD.

Gentle reminder that Toragon is the pet of the main character in the current PAD anime. It had a Monster Memory before already!

Yeah, don’t think most of us will get one but it’s cute anyways.
