[Resource] DadGuide, Finally Available on iOS!
PAD information app, finally on iOS! DadGuide is available for free in not only Play Store, but App Store!
(I’m totally supporting my PAD friends for this and helping them spread the words :D)
About DadGuide
DadGuide is a free mobile application created by tactical_retreat (TR), who is a dad in real life and developer of Miru Bot, a popular PAD resource for Discord servers. The application developed when the original PADGuide became an abandoned project (we loved you PADGuide), and TR created an Android-only version as an overlay of old PADGuide. Months of hard work later, TR made a new app that makes it available on Android and iOS!
Keep in mind that this is an unofficial app and has no relationship with the base PAD game itself.
Featuring:
- Monster database in your hands (literally), and dungeon info
- Event schedules: Guerrillas, daily dungeons!
- Available in English, Japanese, and Korean

Thank you so much. It’s not perfect but still better than nothing. Now I’m curious why PADGuide abandoned? Did something happen to developer, maybe sick or something.
It’ll hopefully grow in the future, I trust TR. :]
As for PADGuide, I don’t have an answer unfortunately. I hope it’s just “too many bugs to fix I’m done with this” than something major happening to the developer. Some had tried contacting the developer but received no response. If anyone knows anything more though, feel free to add!
people were saying that developer got into a car accident or something… i hope he/she is just done with the app and that’s it…. It is a lot of work to maintain, updating all the information and keeping up with pad news
Enough gratitude cannot be expressed to those who are keeping TheGuide alive! I don’t care much for ads but it’s a good sign that at least some expenses may be covered by adding them back in to the app.
I’m not on the Discord server and would like to note that one of the old-now-missing features I miss most is the news feed. It was nice to have the Facebook feed in padguide and perhaps even better to have a feed for this blog in DadGuide. I just hope putting that back in isn’t too complicated and there are plans to re-incorporate it soon!
