[Teaser, Day 3 Updated] Devil May Cry Collab, coming soon next week!

Many parts of Japan is out from quarantine, perfect timing to spice up PAD with Devil May Cry (DMC) collab that we were memeing/waiting for! Expect some more teaser during the week!

Note that on initial announcement is DMC5, but now it’s purely DMC.

Misc. #2: Why did DMC collab take so long?

YamaP says initially the collab was only DMC5 for the game’s release, and planned to only have Monster Point shop/Monster Exchange units. It later become a full collab, so restructuring took time.

Let’s hope the collab will be good!

  2. Hoping it’s worth the wait. I’ll roll just because, but I’m hoping some of these ones are OP or at least capable of replacing some that I already have. Looks cool regardless.

  5. Anyone actually been saving stones since this was announced? I’m curious how many free stones have been given out since then.
    I think its really cool that YamaP saw the positive response and hype to the DMC collab announcement and knew we would be disappointed so he redesigned it into a full collab. It just really shows that the devs are listening to fans (at least in JP)

  6. Woot, JP only been teasing us with this for a few months to a year or two :D. Next few days will simply be the most impatient and tense moments going onto this site in awhile

  7. I just kind of realized too the shift away from big boards and transform leads. Well at least a shift away for me. You can’t lead swap into a transformed lead. And with AA4 pressuring people to come with small boards. Well see what they do with this

  8. A little underwhelming imo those day 2 teasers. Both 5 stars seem a little weak in both equip and regular form. The 6 star seems ok. Got that nice full jammer with rows in one form, and in the other typical double 7c with 1 vdp and a very nice full blind and an unlock!. Very nice awokes. His active though makes me not so hyped. Just pure damage at a pretty high cd for these days. And his equip I find very underwhelming. It’s like meriks with a cloud and TE plus, but the active just has haste and a stright heal. I think these days we need rcv buffs/debuffs over straight heals. I don’t really see this having anything over yugi collab so far. Perhaps for a new arena where the tamas absorb/null over 1,000,000 damage try to cripple yugi/gregory. Usually the % heal over turns, people say is only good for rankings really. Actually mechanics that either involve rcv or awoken bind or clear unmatcable orbs

    1. his active in base/evo is pretty much custom built for A6 (maybe AA4?) for dealing with Aten and the tamadras.

      base could pair with Yugi ok if you want to avoid 7×6 Nohime shenanigans and still keep combos up.

      Evo I’m not so sure on, as the match 2 of same color can be tricky without board changers on VDP

      The equip I see as a couple of good awoken skills that you want anyway and a couple turns of haste for transform or just extra psuedo SB. just put it on that low cool down or changer/cleric so it won’t charge up.

  12. Lady doesn’t seem as bad for her active skill. Attribute absorption and change orbs plus unlock isn’t half bad for specific teams

  13. well comparing her to hanzo or someone with a simular one orb change. 5 cd seems good becuase thats what hanzo is plus you get a freebie 2 turn awoken bind clear and a small shield. Hanzo is an old card however, so its hard to gauge how “meta” this card is. I would say the 2 turn awoken bind clear and small shield is pretty inconsequential right now in the game. The moment Gungho gives us “defense bebuffs” or something she may skyrocket in terms of a useable active. The awokes it gives you are pretty darn bleh though.

  14. well we finally have a new 99 fire skyfall thing now. Those awokes on it look like about the most thrown together awokes though. At no point in time do I ever think will I ever need an SDR, a team HP plus and an orb combo plus (really the orb combo plus is the kicker) please stop making these things until they are a bit useful gungho lol. I’m not so so hyped for this in all honestly. It’s just too much devil killing stuff. Like enough wit the devil killer lol. My red ranger just sits in my box collecting dust. Do I really need to do 216 personal damage to devils. That’s more then double what dragon killing lina does to dragons. Wow lol I mean it’s insane. I just wish it was for other things besides ONLY devils. At this point I run all the late arena. AA2 AA3 A6 Colo 2, probably AA4 when that drops. And you need machine gods devils and dragons for all of these.

    1. You do have 4 other slots on your team to tech for other killers. the theme is devil may cry and devils do be crying.

  15. Dante xform paired with Raoh? Seems like it could work. Else, Raoh would make a good sub.

  16. Nero looks like a modern version of GRanger. Maybe Granger paired with Nero can do some work.
