We knew crown customization was planned, and YamaP talked about more details!
Many in Japan follow professional shogi, YamaP included! The biggest news (besides coronavirus and the heat wave) in Japan is that professional shogi player Sota Fujii (藤井聡太) becomes youngest shogi player with two-crown title (first crown title at age 17), so in media his name would be 藤井聡太二冠 (Sota Fujii, 2 crowns)!
Doesn’t that sound like PAD, displaying crowns?
YamaP thought this was a good time to talk about crowns too. In June, he had plans for customizable crowns, and he mentioned some more details this time:
- Displayed crowns selectable, so you can pick the crown you’d like to see!
- PAD Pro Players (the official ones) will get options to display the “official” tag or not.
- There will also an additional icon to indicate if a player has won (Top 1) a ranking!
- The Top 1 doesn’t apply for Gachadra fever, and no special icon for it either.
Nothing much we didn’t know yet except the last 2 points. So everyone will pick Whaledor and rainbow crowns right?
