An enemy mechanic that allows a spawn to absorb all damage of a certain attribute for a variable number of turns. To counter this, either stall out the absorption shield (assuming the enemy is not able to recast it), deal damage of a different attribute while avoiding the color that’s being absorbed (you can position colors differently on your team to influence the order that your monsters attack), or use an active skill with the effect “voids attribute absorption” to bypass the shield; examples of monsters that possess this kind of active skill include the base forms of the Greco-Roman 3 Pantheon: Hestia, Tethys, Cronus, Astraea, and Uranus . Examples of enemy spawns who have attribute absorption shields are Awoken Mechanical Goemon , who absorbs Water Att. attacks for 10 turns, and Sonia Gran Reverse , who absorbs Light, Dark, and either Fire, Water, or Wood for three turns.
