A type of active skill which will reduce damage taken for a specific number of turns by a specific percentage, usually ranging between 35% to 75%. These active skills can help increase a team’s effective hp in short bursts, most notably for ensuring extended survival on a dangerous spawn that hits hard every turn, or to tank a dangerous preemptive attack, such as Goemon or Divine Queen Hera .

Shields can also be found on the leader skills of some cards, and will often have specific activation requirements. These types of shields will usually either be 25%, 35%, or 50%, and can serve as an effective hp multiplier for these leaders, without having to worry about recovery as severely as 4x hp leads may.
