[Misc.] Special Limited Edition of Umaibo, PAD Style
Those who followed stream news and even PADR shouldn’t find strange that Umaibo and PAD (Radar) has been collaborating, and will have a new flavor of Umaibo snack coming out – Dragon flavor.

PAD x Umaibo snacks
As we all know, PAD is having 7th anniversary soon (in less than a week), and turns out Umaibo is on their 40th anniversary, hence this collab happened! For those who don’t recall, Umaibo (うまい棒, “delicious stick” in Japanese) is a Japanese puffed corn snack known for the inexpensive price, and we have seen the snack sponsoring PAD Radar Ranking Battles in the past.

Dragon flavor?
What they didn’t say during stream was details about this mysterious flavor – Will it taste like
Turns out according to official information… Dragon flavor is actually sparkling ginger ale flavor .
(So that’s how dragon tastes like? Not salt flavor?)
P.S.: The girl is Umami-chan.
Umami-chan (JP: うまみちゃん) is Umaemon’s younger sister, who is 17 when translated to human age. Her official description is an energetic and outgoing girl, who apparently returned from Umaiami country (not to be confused with Miami)? She even has an official website!

- Available starting mid-February! Generally you can find Umaibo in snack stores or supermarkets.
- Price: 10 yen (US$ 0.09) (before tax) everywhere in Japan.
If anyone is in Japan around this time, maybe get some as super cheap souvenir? (LOL) I’ll be looking for some myself, and may be doing some sort of box-opening review if I get some!
