The cheap and tasty snack, Umaibo, collaborates with PAD on snacks again!

As you all may recall, Umaibo is a corn snack that you can buy cheaply in Japan. They have a lot of interesting flavors (such as takoyaki and natto), and a while back we saw the Dragon flavor made for PAD.

This time the flavor is a premium “Dragon Bisque” flavor for PAD 8th anniversary. I wonder how it’ll taste like? The art this time features Umaemon and Umami-chan as… Toragon! 

Would love Umami-chan as Toragon in game too. I don’t think any of us would mind!

The snack will be available in Japan some time this year, 10 of them for 200 yen (yes it’s as cheap as ever).

There’s also a campaign going on (Japan only, until 5/27), where you follow the official account and retweet this tweet to get Umaibo snacks, if you’re lucky.

  1. I’m still working my way through the Dragon flavor pack I bought at an import store…

      1. It’s okay… It does taste like ginger ale, but I’m more of a fan of savory flavors. I have trouble eating more than 1 at a time because the powder on the stick is fizzy like real ginger ale and that feels weird. I was surprised to find it at all, the store was missing a lot of the standard Umaibo flavors but had this one for some reason.
