Surprise, new collab! Samurai Spirits (NA: Samurai Shodown) arrives PAD for the first time! I feel old for actually knowing the collab (and have played it)!

Samurai Spirits

First released in 1993, Samurai Spirits (侍魂, NA: Samurai Shodown) is, as you may expect, a sword fighting game from SNK Cooperation! It’s been a long time since we’ve seen any new Samurai Spirit games, so it’s certainly a surprising collab!

SNK also produced the King of Fighters series, which had a collab in PAD as well. Let’s hope we see this collab on NA server as well!

Note that all cards have Assist Evo, but artwork were not shown. This is a good indication that it’s likely not a 5-stone per roll collab.

Bonus: SNK’s side…

Collab is usually two-way, so on SNK’s side you get this: A (too realistic) Haku and Fagan, which are character-specific DLC costumes available in Samurai Spirits.
