I think this is the best sub out of the robot series despite 3 of them being submarines. the gungho approach to full shields and no HP is a turn off for me but with the super blind resist it seems like this one was designed to be a sub and not a lead anyways.
double 10c without being able to double-cap is pretty sad, though…
I agree, but I think gh is going to have to remove damage cap and super awakening limitations of transform cards at some point. these robots not only have long first transforms but they also have a second transform to make. The key heroes are really been screwed over by these limits and some bad awakenings like team HP on eichs, sFUA (why hasnt this awakening been retired and regular fua buffed to spawn nail orbs?) on ferule, guard break on Gil (and Tanjiro). why does gil create a board with one color and have an awakening that meeds 5? Rikkuu and Distel do a similar thing. Rainbow charge and guard break should have been buffed to include damage rather than create those new rainbow awakenings.
Until changes to transform cards are made, this guy is going to be fine for a while as a sub. with a >50 equip, you can count on the sub att hitting for a bil or more with his active spike. He can be a part of a system with something like Sakura who will provide short turn unlock. Another reason to not use bbirb as a lead is how inconsistent his shield is. Dayt only needs 4 orbs, the same turn you dont get 6 orbs with birb you are dead and you need 12 orbs to VDP since with 9 you will neither have a shield nor +combo (or even damage). these things are ok for Hibiscus 🧚♀️🌺 because of 7×6 (unfortunatly tjat comes with a slew of bs punishment hots in late game that make 7×6 not enjoyable to play with). He also heavily relies on having halloween chakael since his real hp is 3,33
Looks like it probably could at least hit damage cap with primary and secondary attacks. Curious if they’ll make the damage increase for each awakening higher than 10% since it’s more rare and afaik no assists to get more
Reginleif is available rn, Hiei will be soon. Genmu and Baran came recently. Ana Typhon was recently buffed to be an 8 sb sub herself and her active that comes up every 12 turns can be chained with birb after to make a dark + heart board and she can take roulette clear awakening and a ney, wolf, Marik, or Exodia equip to make that latent better. I think birb has a lot of options to work with that many people will already have or can get without spending money. I just wish monsters like Nergigante and Summoned skull had a second SA slot or better yet traded all those god killers out and replaced them with the good awakenings its SA could be.
Now that they are all assembled I am ready for a 5 part story mode in a super sentai style that gives us mats to make equips out of dupes. Maybe we’ll even get to see what kind of waifus or baramen are piloting these robots from the equips. I have a feeling Daytona would have a cute lolii pilot and blackbirb would literally be piloted by Kirito
I can see it now. cute girl. shes looks like shes 8-11 but shes really 16 so its ok. her mother is a nascar driver and her father is the mother’s racecar mechanic. an accident happens during a race and leaves her orphaned. she uses the broken parts of her mother’s racecar and her father’s tools to create an artificial intelligence mecha that acts as her guardian while they together unravel the mystery of who set up the accident that killed her parents. she meets a dark haired man named kirito with balckbirb who reluctantly adds her to his harem and helps her solve the mystery.
very few cards have 2 10c . hard to build a team with this to get huge attack boost
its unfortunate that Belial, a card many people have, would have been a great sub who actually has 10c for this guy if he had an HP modifier instead of all shield. You cant get value out of Belial’s hoe awakenings with 70% shield. Without HChakael I dont think bb will have enough 10c nor survivability. its really a shame.
2x to all stats for dark att; 11x atk and 35% shield with a match of 5 dark orbs; 25% shield, + 3 combo, and fixed 2,5 mil with 2 of: dark, dark, heal
fixed. he’d also probably be better off with L shield, L unlock, or a cross than super sunnies
the announcement of the announcement of blackbird got a lot more page views than the actual announcement.
