  2. This looks fun and all, but some reruns to buff my old cards and so I can pick up stuff I’m missing would be perf. Digimon Frontiers collab anyone? Junpei and the gang would be excellent top rarity transform cards with cool artwork. Tamers generation included so those with an affinity for fur can have Renamon orb skin? Just please no Agumon. That guy gets shilled so hard

  3. I don’t know who the orb skin will be but I hope its not yet another rendition of “Random Faces, the Orb Skin.” The random colored heads skins are the worst ones and I never want to use them over stuff with symbols

  4. I had the original Dragon Quest when it came out on Famicon and Dragon Warrior when it came out on NES. I’m so behind on what the current Dragon Quest is lol.

    2. This isn’t a mainline dragon quest game, it’s a collab with a new spinoff mobile game. It’s coming to global audiences to my knowledge so an NA release for this collab I would say would be highly likely.
      Then again, dragon quest mobile games for global audiences never last very long. It’s way more popular in japan.

  7. I’m curious to see how the buff according to how combo awakenings works out. Like will 7 and 10 be worth the sane and it be based on the amount of awakenings themselves?
    Should be cool either way.

  8. The light belial looks interesting. The UVO of dai could be a good double damage caper since he has pierce and his subattribute is same as main att. He’s like a Wolverine that can do damage without a VDP.

    Do you guys like using double shield and one big shield leads? even 1.5x hp and 50% shield is about the floor of how much eHP a card can have and remain somewhat useful as a lead, but its starting to not be enough now. Double shields also mean you have 1x raw HP and will die in one attack if you get a call or 20% battery warning. I think the shield only leaderskills work with things like Miya because her 50% shield is static and protects you on bad boards and mistakes. I dont think I am going to be interested in this collab just like JJK so far. If light belial is a skin and the skin isn’t just faces-the-orb-skin, I can see me buying her.

  9. Holy cow! the hot orc daddy with the hot bull demon subordinates behind him is exactly the kind of pairing Reincarnated Orphen needed to become meta. Throw a Euchs or two as subs and you have got a new template that is going to the top of the meta with the fairies and the subs.

    1. Pegasus and Sakura system would probably work better than Euchs, but Euchs does guarantee 6 orbs and that shield with an unlock

      1. Chris also makes 6 dark orbs every turn if you’re able to charge him to his transformation.

  10. Ult Hadler is a little sad. Rainbow attack awakenings, but then his actives skill makes a non rainbow+hearts board, therefore you can’t use VDP latent. His active skill makes him unusable as a sub for other rainbow teams and unusable for dark and red teams because it wont gives 9 orbs for a VDP consistently. Its such an archaic design for a card. whatever, hes a 7* so I cant trade for him anyways and theres no way I’m rolling this so far

    1. Well, not quite as bad as that – he’s using tri-color awakenings, not full-rainbow, so they work with his active just fine. But yeah, as a 3+h board change, you probably will see the occasional 8-or-less dark/fire board for his VDP SA to fail on. He’s definitely meant for a fire + dark team (with a little water splashed in to work with his active and awakenings) and not a rainbow team, though. His leader skill feels really wonky though, since it cares more about fire orbs than dark, despite dark being his primary damage color. I’m not sure what specific teams he’d really fit on as a sub, either.

  11. Everything about Puff! is just a little bit less than the subs. Its leaderskill is less shielding and no plus combo, the active skill is missing a debuff clear spike and doesnt make heals, and it has a cloud awakening which means one wasted slot if you dual pair. A shield that weak should at least be static and not require orbs

  12. I LOVE these slimes! This is gonna be so fun to team build with. Slime 99 will be a nIAP seina pairing and the metal defense slime has a lot of interesting things going for it. I cant wait to find out what dungeons are ‘slimable.’ The no HP or skill lock resists on first form can make it really hard to get thru the first floors of many dungeons but who cares?! Slime!

    1. If KSlime had be BB and not BL to pseudo hit the double cap he would have been more worth it as a sub. I also dont think any transform card is worth their salt as a sub if they dont have at least 2 skill boosts. The whole point of xform to me is that they shed off skill boosts to make room for better awakenings thus not needing a SA to have 10 awakenings.

      It really bums me out that the slime isnt good enough that I can use it as a sub. Also I hardly have any black medals and I know its gonna cost those so I have no chance of getting it anyways.

  13. I wish ult Myst had the base form’s active skill. If it doesnt have VDP in SA its a DOA card anyways. So many dark takos in this collab but theres no lead to take advantage of them unless you are running a low HP Euchs team (which has low eHP because you are always under half)

  14. Replace those 7 combo awakenings with cross awakenings on armored flazzard and I’ll be excited.

  15. I am going to prioritize an exchange for Baron. I wouldn’t exactly say I am a pogonophile but I am really into men with moustaches and seeing him makes me want to use him as a lead. He seems decently strong, double shields are kind of lame to me. I’d rather see 2x HP and a shield because I like big health numbers but he has a moustache so I don’t care. Larhart for farming seems nice and the equip might be fun on Touya and metal slime teams. Hym gets me excited for how Gakuen Kio will be buffed in the future. Best buff he can get rn is removing his dragon killers to make space for a VDP and light tako.

  16. If there is some way to have 2 of [Sakuya, Pegasus, Itadori, Mahito, Derod], Gemn, and Belial as subs for Baron then he could be the next Capt Marvel. Unfortunately there isnt a whole lotta room for a fujin active and the right SB and SBR equips. He is hard and expensive to team build for. You might even need dupes

  19. 5 7c seems wasteful. They ought to have condensed some of that into 10c. Hard to believe 7c is actually a bad awakening because of all the +combo leaderskills

    1. 5 7c is 32x | 2 10c is 25x
      With the two dark takos being proced for his leaderskill and his active skills 10x spike, the difference of 25x and 32x even for his subatt is negligible with a cap of 4,2 bil damage since he cant DDC. Baron doesn’t have the awakening set a transformation character should have and his leaderskill just comes off as weak compared to something like Hibiscus (who also has a 7c problem but makes up for it in other ways). Theres could be 3 open slots for team HP awakenings, Lshields, a VDP, or any other good awakening. I don’t think he will be strong enough to be part of the meta. In fact, I think he is about as weak as Fagan Rai is.
