Refers to the five floors of “Ultimate Arena – No Continues” in Technical Dungeons. Each floor is abbreviated with the first letter of Arena and the number representing the order in which they arrived to the game. For example, Three Hands of Fate was the fourth Arena to torment players, so it is known as A4.

    Acronym & Name Battles
A1 Bipolar Goddess 1 21
A2 Bipolar Goddess 2 25
A3 Bipolar Goddess 3 25
A4 Three Hands of Fate 25
A5 Grotesque Being 20
A6 Incarnation of Worlds 20

They represent a sizable jump in game difficulty and style, with each dungeon having twenty or more floors of various enemies. Arenas are frequently farmed for their rewards. A1, A2, and A3 all drop a single Py. In addition, A3 drops one Latent Killer per run. A4 switches it up slightly and drops a Snow Globe Dragon instead, but A5 returns to dropping a Py as well as two Latent Killers. Finally, A6 drops a Snow Globe Dragon, Latent Killers, and either a Py or an Extra Latent Slot Tamadra.

The dungeons are challenging because of their sheer length and because the spawns of most floors are picked randomly from a pool of two or more monsters, which means more enemies to possibly account for during teambuilding. Additionally, each dungeon possesses strong boss monsters that can and will end your run.

As always, it is recommended to build a team around a specific dungeon; more than likely, a team built for A3 will fail in A5. Studying and preparing for each floor and spawn is the key to success!
