Killers refer to normal or latent awakening that boosts a card’s damage against a certain type of enemy. A killer for every type in PAD is available:
Normal killer awakenings on a card boost damage dealt by the card by 3x ATK, while latent killer awakenings boost damage by 1.5x ATK. These stack multiplicatively with each other.
Examples
- A card with one Devil Killer awakening and one God Killer awakening will gain 9x ATK against enemies that are both Devil and God type, but only gains 3x ATK against enemies that are solely Devil or God type.
- A card with three God Killer awakenings will gain 27x ATK against enemies that are God type, but will not gain an attack boost against any other type.
- Latent awakenings also stack multiplicatively; for example, two latent Dragon Killers will boost damage by 2.25x ATK, while one normal Dragon Killer and one latent Dragon Killer will combine to boost damage against Dragon-type spawns by 4.5x ATK.
- For example, Servant, Caster has one Physical Killer, one Attacker Killer, and two Devil Killers. If Servant, Caster were to attack a monster such as Great Witch of the Flame Chains, Madoo (who is Devil/Attacker), Caster would gain 27x ATK because her Devil and Attacker Killers would trigger against Madoo. However, because Madoo is not Physical, Caster’s Physical Killer would remain inactive.
